You obviously have MultiFW installed then. This kind of thing happens when batteries are flat, or sometimes will happen if you have a ROM that won't work
Seems to me if you've intentionally flashed your firmware to Mr Spiv's dev'ing multifw you can get Little John to work. try running it in the official english firmware, replace your batteries, re-format your smc and try again.
It runs fine in the multi-fw; I've been doing it for ages. It sounds like a battery problem to me. Could be something else, but that'd be a fair bet...
I put Little John in the GPMM directory and it worked fine. Ive been using InfoNES for the past few days...Little John is SUCH an improvement! PERFECT NES EMULATION! Now we just need Game Shark support...
