When I got my gp2x I have downloaded from gp2x.com the bloodshed dev kit ( the one ready for gp2x developing). After that I got much coding fun

After system reinstallation I lost my distributive.
By that time official gp2x site have no link to download, so I rushed for it on archive.gp2x.de...

Is the BloodShed some sort of outcast here?

Personaly, I do not like code-blocks(even if it a better IDE)

Should I upload bloodshed to archive.gp2x.de or it is some part of heresy or the conspiracy?

Strange... had no problem using the official one. And will not have :)

Well I am bashing it ;). Dev-C++ is fine as an IDE, but the GPH toolchain uses ancient, slow libraries and doesn't have very many of them at that. Hardly anybody uses it so extra library packs are very rare (I think they may have it set up for hardware floats too, but I'm not totally certain). You will struggle to get anybody else's code to compile with the GPH toolchain due to the lack of libraries.

Altrough I know SDL is dynamicaly linked in official toolchain, extremely lowering gpe's size. But some apps(mplayer) are doing "something to gp2x memory" so programs, written with official toolchain beginning to experience fps drop
