It looks fantastic, it´s a clone of Streets Of Rage with KOF characters and its open source.

If there is a version on DC, PS2, PC and Xbox, why gp32 users not?

I think it would be possible and you cna download a Mod Editor for the game...think it, you could make your own mods and later play it on gp32.

It´s simply Fantastic!

Coders, please see it, the best port for gp32 could be in your hands.

My thoughts exactly...

If someone ported this, we'd be pretty much set. Its a pity all the gfx etc in it are copyrighted since a port of this would, I'm certain, sell on JoyGP like hotcakes (digital ones)

Because the GP32 only has 8MB of RAM and no real graphics hardware?

I'll try to call one of the devs' attention to this, and put a link to here on their board. If I can, I'd like to get a response about the minimum requirements, because the GP32's lack of RAM (compared to other platforms with ports ~ DC, Xbox, PS2) may pose a problem.

Hmmm... Needs 24mb of ram, but I'm sure someone could trim it down to 8mb.

I'm going to have a go myself I think. Could always use the smartmedia card as a swapfile :)

From what I can see from the src code, the only reason for the memory requirement is because of the storage of the graphic data. There's no reason why some of the graphics can't be loaded on demand, although it would make the code more complicated.

Does it actually need 24mb though ?

It may well less (DC only has 16MB) any pc prog that requires over 16mb would be said to require 24mb or 32mb as they were the next common amount of RAM after 16mb.

Or am I making myself sound silly here

I thought omg this is gonna be shit but if its the same as streets of rage with the King Of fighters Characters in ,Wow that would be sooo amazing!

Has anyone actually managed to download the pc version of this yet? I've got the source code, but without the rest of the files (which seem to be inaccessible) it's pretty much useless.

This game looks good.

Cant find anywhere to download the pc version.

If someone gets one then pls post the link.

I've got the DC version, which probably doesn't do much good seeing as it's a .cdi file...the game itself is very good, I must say. http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/ has it mirrored, but it took 3 tries for me to get an uncorrupted download.

Great find, looks like a good candidate for a GP32 port. I downloaded the source and did a quick look throught it, and it seems to be written in a portable-friendly way, so that the main game (BOR.C) will probably not need much rewriting at all. The work will be to port all the gfx/sound/input etc. code in the GAMELIB3 dir.
Unless there is a problem with the gamedata not fitting into 8Mb, this should be doable.

Well, good luck to whoever decides to give it a go!

Hehehe, then, anyone wants port it?

Give me the thanks!

Im searching other cool games to port.
