Ok I REALLY need your help right know!
I have been trying to get some movie files compressed so that they would work on my soon to arrive GP32, however I am having vast amounts of diificulty.
Someone suggested that I should follow the guide on gp32emu.com, which seems to only cover moviepark, which, as far as my understanding goes, is different to GPCinema (which is what I will use seeing as people here seem to say its the best).
My second problem came when I tried to follow the guide and use virtualdub (v1.4.7 which people have said to use). I downloaded an episode of the simpsons the other day, however when I try to put it into virtualdub to compress it says something along the lines of microsoft owning the ASF format and so movies with that format wont work?????
One thing I would like to know is whether it can be done straight from the VOB files that you rip of DVD's or whether it has to be converted to AVI using a certain program (any suggestions?) then compressed using virtual dub?
Finally I would like to know if it can be done with any other programs other than virtualdub that can be used to do this and finally if it is simply the avi files (once compressed) that you play on the GP32?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I really want to get movies working on my soon to arrive bundle of joy!
