Very simple question: is there something equivalent to "Alt+F2" in the Pandora Xfe desktop? Sometimes i'd want to type to launch a program instead of using the stylus or the mouse.

Don't know about keyboard shortcuts, but there's definately a "run" option in the XFCE menu.

Funny thing is, i tried that, even before asking the question in this thread, but it does not do anything on my pandora. Am I missing something??
Check your keyboard settings (Settings\Desktop\Keyboard or Settings\Keyboard depending on your firmware version).

[edit]Alternatively launch: xfce4-keyboard-settings on the terminal.[/edit]

In the tab Application Shortcuts I have xfrun4 set to <Alt> F2.

I have it as Alt-F2 as well, but does not work no matter what.Very strange!

Anyway I set it up as Alt+Enter for now and it works.

I just realized you cannot start applications on the pandora this way. At least not PNDs... or is there a way to do it via a command?

pnd_run <path_to_pndfile>

[edit]My old OVR editor also has PND-aware launching capabilities. I've had some reports that it has issues with the latest firmware and it does need to be updated....someday.
