First, out of sheer curiosity, what does my serial number mean: 2005.11.09 - gp2XV003 - 00000095
Does that mean it is the 95th unit made, or what? It's a first edition so it's possible. Does anyone have an older unit?
Next, what can I do about my LCD having scanlines? I know it has been talked about quite a bit. I have LCD tweaker but I don't know what settings to use. Also, once I find out what works, do I have to do the whole thing over again everytime I start up, or is there a way to automate it?
Lastly, I am having trouble with smashGP2X. I downloaded it and unzipped it into a folder called smashgp2x, along with a bunch of level and character files. I also placed smashgp2x.gpe on the root of my SD like it says to do. When I go to launch, I just get a black screen, and I have to reboot. What did I do wrong?
Other than these minor annoyances, I already LOVE this thing. I successfully upgraded to firmware 2.0 (from 1.01), got DRMD, SquidgeSNES, GNGEO, and HU6280 working great. Even if these are the only things I ever figure out how to run, I would be satisfied with the system.
