Today I went through some old stuff and found this handheld time forgot...
I used to play it a lot back in 2000, but never used it once since then. Its deplorable state and my state of boredom made me decide to try and restore it to its former glory, and then some. The first thing I did was take out its guts in order to clean the case:
Check out the battery springs, no wonder it wouldn't power on!
Now I have a relatively clean case, free of scotch tape and Star Wars stickers, although it lacks the fantastic battery cover seen in the first photo.
Next I'll give it a nice paint job; will post more photos as (if) this develops
