    Panasonic 3do Emulator

I can't! That game rocked my pre-teen socks :P There's another project called 4DO, created by a guy called johnnydude who got annoyed at the lack of development on freeDO. http://sourceforge.net/projects/fourdo I believe he managed to convince the freeDO creators to share some of the...

Dungeon Master & Chaos Strikes Back Port

http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/851 Someone went to the bother of disassembling the original AtariST code and then translating the op-codes to C++. There are Windows, Linux, MacOSX and PocketPC versions available as well as the source code for the Windows & Linux versions. Apart from the...

Multiple .fpg Files Causing Massive Slowdown?!

thanks for offering to help ruckage! I just sent you a PM. Let me know if there's any problems! :)

Multiple .fpg Files Causing Massive Slowdown?!

I've encountered a rather strange problem when trying to run my fenix project on the gp2x. I discovered that my latest build runs like an absolute dog, whereas the previous one ran fullspeed. I narrowed it down to using multiple fpg files for the graphics. Previously I had just been using a...

    My First Fenix Project

well whatever the problem with the collisions was, I've managed to circumvent it by using a 21x21 pixel transparent image with a 1 pixel border that follows the pumpkin movement and is used for the collisions. I never thought a damn bouncing pumpkin would cause me so much grief!

    My First Fenix Project

Thanks Quiest! I was just going by this snippet as to the range of z values, but I guess it's out of date now. I've been rewriting my program from scratch, and I've now included the process I was having problems with within another process. Using father.x and father.y seems to work fine, so...

    My First Fenix Project

Aha, I see. So does the priority variable work similarly to the z variable, having values from 1 to 255 with 1 being the highest priority?

    My First Fenix Project

thanks for all the replies! :) I must have some syntax error somewhere as I still can't get it working. So at the moment I'm using ruckage's idea of just assigning the value to a global variable and reading it from there, which seems to be working fine for this situation. I'm working on the...

    My First Fenix Project

I finally decided to have a bash at coding in fenix, so I've been bumbling my way through various tutorials and source codes for about the past week. And, surprisingly, my first project is coming on quite well :) (better than I expected at least!) It's a remake/reworking of Cauldron II for the...

    Gpfce Skin Pack V1.0

Argh, all you l33t h4x0rs with your command line launchers  Oh well, at least I'm enjoying them! :P

Lcd Colour Correcting Daemon For Mkii's

Just wanted to say this is an excellent little app! I've been testing it out with gpfce and the image looks infinitely better. Much more balanced and natural looking! :) One thing I've found; when exiting gpfce (v0.4 r171, ie the newest version) it returns to the default settings at the gp2x...

    Gpfce Skin Pack V1.0

cool, I never realised that blargg's NTSC filter had been implemented for the NES too. I've recently been using zsnes with the filter and thought it was really great (completed Soul Blazer with it a few weeks ago :)). But for the gp2x, palettes are the only real option (the filter uses "40%...

    Gpfce Skin Pack V1.0

Ok, here's a more thorough palette comparison (that wasn't hurriedly done at 2 in the morning! :P) This compares the FCEUltra default palette against 2 other popular emulator palettes (Nestopia and Nesticle), as well as the RealityA and RealityC palettes. As you can see blues and greens tend...

    Gpfce Skin Pack V1.0

here's a quick comparison picture: As you can see there is a huge variation between palettes for many emulators, most of them being extremely garish and not very accurate (the fceultra one certainly isn't the worst I've seen). The RealityC palette gives the best overall reproduction, but...

    Gpfce Skin Pack V1.0

This is my first contribution in a long time! A full readme is included in the zip, but here are the main points: Here are 9 menu background images for the emulator "gpfce" for the GP2X. All images are based on the title screens of actual NES games, keeping as true to the originals as...

    Psp Redesign Has Tv-out?

as mentioned by rememberthe8bit, I'll only be buying the new version if they use a better screen. The ghosting on the current screen is just terrible, it turns into a ghosting, blurry mess at the slightest hint of a shadow. Silent Hill Origins.... I'm getting motion sickness just thinking about...

Excellent work guys, I just preordered my copy! :D It's great to see such a professional looking game developed for the gp2x. Can't wait til it's released now!

    Gpfce 0.4

thanks for sorting the Akumajou Densetsu bug, great work again notaz! :D One small problem I've come across is that it doesn't seem to save config settings on a per-game basis even though the option is there. The global "default" settings seem to stick, but saving a config for one game only and...

    Gpsquares Now For The Gp2x!

This is great news! I never owned a gp32_console so this'll be my first chance to play it. Quality homebrew is always welcome, good work! :)
