Outcast Atari St Emu Bumped Up To V010

Checked it out - much better. Though the mouse bug is still there - but it's a lot rarer. I've noticed it (With hack off - which fixes most of the bugs) on Balance of Power 1990 edition, and Third Reich - if that helps at all. But it's a lot less common, and most other games works fantastically...

Outcast Atari St Emu Bumped Up To V010

Yay - thanks for this! Am just downloading and will see if it fixes the mouse bug. Great job!

    Outcast Updated To Ver. 009

Thanks for looking for this bug - though I should make it a bit clearer that it isn't really the y limits. It is a bit chaotic but tends to happen when at 4/5s of any extreme (so about an inch from either border). And so it's not just limited to the y axis - but rather both. But in all cases, it...

    Outcast Updated To Ver. 009

Oooh - thanks for the quick reply - my request for usb mouse/keyb is just me being really cheeky. It's really the last thing that anyone should add ;-) Mouse problems: I've just downloaded 009 from your website; before that I was using 008 from the archives. In both of them I've got this mouse...

    Outcast Updated To Ver. 009

no idea if this is the right thread, but here goes... I've noticed a reasonably big problem with Outcast -- on programs which use mouse, when the mouse gets near the edge of the screen (any edge) - sometimes it'll zoom off to the far right. On some games this just makes it annoying (balance of...

    Nethack For Gp2x (ascii-only)

I should be able to test this later on today (illness permitting) - congrats on the good work!

    Sterm 0.2 With Keyboard Hack

Right now it's a 'zippy' keyboard (with light up keys) that I got from Maplins (in the UK) -- it's just a bit smaller than a laptop's keyboard. They had a smaller one, but I wanted one I could touch type easily on. Though I am thinking of getting a thumbboard at some point.

    Announce: Nethack 0.51

I'd quite like it to be able to handle a usb keyboard (via breakout box) - so then I can play nethack with my mini tiny keyboard - that'll be hella cool. But I understand if it's not a pressing issue right now (if at all!) - just thanks for the game!

    Sterm 0.2 With Keyboard Hack

As I've just got my break out box recently, along with a mini usb keyboard, I've gone ahead and customised Sterm to use the usb keyboard. NOTE: by doing this, I've broken the normal joystick functionality -- I just want to quickly get this out there in case someone finds it interesting, and...

    Thinking Off Getting One

Only thing I'll change from what people have said is that the main SNES emulator (squidgesnes) still has some issues. The speed is pretty good now, so you can play most games quite well. However, the current version has a problem with sprite layer order - basically the sprites will appear on top...

    Frodo Update

Can't wait to try this - the only way this could be better is if it allows seperation of key combinations -- ie, you could assign 'X' to F1, whilst L+X together would give f3. Then I'd be able to play Gunship in a very convoluted way. Mrahahaha! But yes, this should be a great patch, and I...

    Squidgesnes With Squidge Mmu Hack

well I must warn that I am a nobody and am trying to figure out the code in my own time, so my efforts probably won't go anywhere. But I'm sure eventually it will be done by someone.

    Squidgesnes With Squidge Mmu Hack

Yeah, IIRC, Reesy is halfway through changing how it renders the sprites which'll make it correct and fast - the .37 version has some of the modifications done in preparation for that - which unfortunately means that sprite ordering is kibbutzed for now. (essentially fast sprites hack is...

    Squidgesnes With Squidge Mmu Hack

The other problem with ogre battle is the cursor on several of the submenus appears under the menu, which means you need a pretty good memory of where the cursor should be. But it's still playable. The koei games on the other hand.... Does anyone know what's happening in the menus for several...

Games For Dosbox - What Games Do You Want?

I've kinda clumped one together to get covert action's code breaking game to work (you have to replace each letter with another one - which requires two presses of the alpha keys). Here's the snippet from the mapper.txt: key_a "key 97 mod1" key_b "key 104 mod1" key_c "key 103 mod1" key_d "key...

Games For Dosbox - What Games Do You Want?

I got this as well, but then I ran the neogeo emulator with metal slug, and quit once it loads - and voila dosbox works until I turn off the gp2x. With this - I can now play covert action - albeit very slowly... Joy Joy! Hope that helps

    Cpu

Yup - just a pity most of those are pretty dire... (You've also missed out the Frotz virtual machine/emulator and the sierra adventure game emulator)

    The Gp2xmess

Just to add to this.. I've also tried to get the apple 2 emulators working, but it's all no go. As soon as i select the apple2 gpe, it displays a black screen, then boots me back to the gp2x menu. I've also ran it under telnet, and no errors are thrown out. Curiously, if I then press 'x' on the...

    Batt Led Problems?

One thing I've noticed is that vice only uses the battery led when you have true drive emulation set to on - this hsould also mean it'll take a few minutes to load most programs. Hopefully this'll help you test your led.
