Just download the browser on a computer, put it on a stick and install it on your pyra with sudo dpkg -i /your-path/vivaldi-stable_xxx_armhf.deb and it will automatically be added to the repository to get updates.
It couldn't be more hassle-free like this.
I experienced this weird issue myself that I couldn't create files or folders on the second SD card slot, even as root. Try experimenting with different file systems or format yor card on a different computer.

An unambiguous way would be to globally replace the slashes with the chinese characters for date and month.
Whether you prefer writing 03日05月2016 or 05月03日2016, it's always clear.
There should be one exception however, that Pyra (pre)orders have to use the stardate system!
