As I said (a year ago - apologies) here is zombiepox for the Pandora:
Zombiepox
I did try putting this on the repo but there's issues with the descriptions not being available on the pxml? I think I did have a time trying to sort the PXML and eventually did it. As I put this together some time...
Zombiepox 1.1.4 changes:
- Looked again at the music not playing. After fixing it but not being able to replicate the non-playing music state I suspected it was playing but at a too low volume**
- Non working options menu wasn't displaying. Possibly due to same button being used to enter and...
Brill!
That worked via the pnd.
Not sure I need x11. I'll play around with that.
Thank you all for the help.
Just got to add a few bits to this, do some testing. Then I can release.
I saw that. Already fixed. Thanks again! :)
I've got a little more movement - mounting the pnd and running via sh runs the program but executing the PND doesn't do anything.
I've located the pndrun_*.out file and this is what it says:
Will do. Apologies, it's just the way that it came off.
Efficiency is great but it's always the small things that get ignored which causes the most frustration. With regards to this community, coming from the GP2X days where you had a frontend and comparatively little to worry about to being...
Firstly, that video was for a "sanity check" to make sure that I'd done things somewhat correctly in terms of including the right things (like the application - which was mentioned) and I didn't want a ping pong of messages asking about it.
Secondly, I'd appreciate it if you'd have asked this a...
After feeling nostalgic about devving for the GP2X again (and actually finishing the issues in Zombiepox - release coming within the next few days),I've turned towards the Pandora to try and get something running (yes, Zombiepox). I tried again with cdevtools on the Pandora and got nowhere. Then...
I know, just wanted to compile so that I could see it working. When I try, it moans that it can't find time.h - which I know is wrong since one of my sdl projects uses it and that compiles fine!
I've been looking at trying to get Allegro working by compiling Atanks 6.4, then v 6.0 via CDevTools but it just doesn't seem to recognise that allegro is there. Am I compiling the wrong version? Do I need to do additional setup to get it running?
Just wanted to update on this.
Managed to fix the problem, part of it was screen resolution (as mentioned) - which was solved by using a launch script (the one that has "export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=omapdss"), making sure that the correct bits per pixel is set and changing SDL_SWSURFACE to...
I've recently been playing around with cdevtools and managed to get a couple of projects running via the Pandora but they are running really really slowly and I don't know why - here's a zip file of the parallax scrolling test:
Pandora Scrolling Test
Thanks for your help.
[edit]: link fixed
@Godmil I've updated the original post to show the file structure needed for the makefile to run if you're stuck
@M-HT Thanks. I'll run a couple of tests to see what happens and report back.
Rather than spam the boards unnecessarily I'm combining 2 posts in one.
Firstly hi (it's been a while - and I made a post on the old gp32x boards but that's pretty dead nowadays).
Secondly I wanted to show off my dev setup that I got working by cobbling pieces together and using some of my old...
As promised, here's what I did to get development on my Windows 7 machine.
From this link http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/55711-getting-cross-compiling-up-and-running-on-windows/
I followed:
Step 1 (with the exception of installing it to C:/ and not the program files folder -...
