As said above, the GBA's hardware is very generic, that was why a decent emulator appeared for it so soon on the PC. It took years for SNES to be perfected.

Would a game like Champ Man 2 be hard to create for the GP32? I don't know of any open source cm2 style games but they can't be that hard to write from scratch can they?? I guess the players database would be the hardest thing but if someone could write a game that could read the cm4 database...
If it runs full speed without sound then that's brilliant, GBA sound is totally crap.

Personally I won't be getting a psp as I refuse to pay over £15 for a video game. I am getting a gp32 because it is open source. Open source is the future, mark my words. hoh yes.
I've had my GBA since launch day (almost 2 years ago?! :o) and the only game I've properly enjoyed was Tony Hawks 2 and that's because I got it was the first game I got. All the other games I played (and I've played a couple of hundred) have been pretty crap.
