    Would the RK3399 fit too? It's a bit faster and already used in the pinebook pro and pinephone pro, so there is a big community around. Apparently there is a more efficient RK3399S version specifically for the pinephone, but I'm not sure it can be sourced.

    There is a software-controllable (from the open-source side) kill-switch for the (closed-source) modem. AFAIK, the modem falls back to 2G for voice.

    No, KVM support for aarch32 will be *removed*. That means we won't be able to use the KVM acceleration in the Pyra anymore.
