    Pyra and Brexit

Does the same apply, regarding VAT, to EEA countries that are (I think) not in the EU customs union, like Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein? Thanks. :)

YES. For one thing, there is no contortion of one's hands as the natural way (for me) to hold a Pandora is with the fingers already near or on the shoulder buttons.

I wonder: will Anbox work on the Pyra, do we have the required kernel modules etc.? Having never owned an Android (nor iOS) device, I am a little curious about whether it has anything, worth using, to offer.

We could have the user-defined keyboard button default as middle mouse button.

Epic vs Apple Vs The World

I wonder if the fact that Tencent is Chinese will have any influence, given the TikTok situation.

Has there been any testing of Wayland vs X11? Regarding tearing, that is.

    Future of the CPU board?

Yes. I know that, for at least x86, assembly/machine-language opcodes have not corresponded directly to ALU/MMU/whatever actions for a long time. Rather, machine-code instructions are translated in hardware into so-called µops (micro-ops) that each stand for some very basic operation, such as...

    It's software this time!

The guy who makes the Unreal 227 patch (https://www.oldunreal.com/oldunrealpatches.html) claims to have access to the source code, but is not allowed to share it further. I suppose that, in theory, he could cross-compile to armhf. Although I do wonder how playable games like Unreal are when...

Pyra news partially stale from the dragon's mouth

Well, I ordered on the first day, but that still could mean that I am in the second set, I think, as a great many ordered on that day. I suppose that I should choose optimism.:)

Pyra news partially stale from the dragon's mouth

Is there a way to find out whether one's order is in the first or second batch of 500? I vaguely remember that I ordered around the time when there were already 500 preorders, and some may have dropped out and so on.

Pyra news partially stale from the dragon's mouth

Are the new magnets known to be strong enough to trigger the lid switch? I do not remember whether that has been mentioned, yet. Also, I wonder whether the coronavirus in China could mess up the supply chain in any way? Are the heat-sinks and heat-pipes from China? Thanks for keeping us...

So, what's the current status of everything?

I neglected to mention that the nominative plural could also be Pyru, but that would only be if it were considered to be a neuter noun, and neuter nouns of this form are rare and most often body parts. Since the Pyra is named after a female mythological figure (Pyrrha) and the word for computer...

So, what's the current status of everything?

In Icelandic and Old Norse, the nominative plural of Pyra is Pyrur.

    Preparing for a Prototype

Middle mouse click as right double-click (i.e. left nub double-click)? Obviously not ideal, as it may be confusing when one accidentally double-clicks, but it may be workable.

Latest update: Keymats are here, how strong will the logo plate be - and pretty cases.

It is, in fact, a translation of the Iliad into Icelandic made in 1855 (which can be found here: https://rafbokavefur.is/rafbaekur/ilionskvida-homer/ ), so the language in it is rather old-fashioned, and includes direct translations of Greek epithets; though not so much in that paragraph...

Greinilega og án spurningar, er íslenzka það bezta tungumálið til þess að móðga aðra á netinu. Sjá: Clearly and without question, is Icelandic the best language for insulting others on the internet. Behold: „Ólánsmaður ertu, París, manna fríðastur sýnum, en hleypur sem galinn eftir hverri...

A video. Again. Mostly about cases.

I thought that the shoulder button was called Meta rather than Alt-Gr. Not that I know the difference -- is there one?
