Building droidcam-cli from source on Pyra

It works perfectly. The new module accepts width and height parameters fine and I can now take photos and capture video in full HD, with the Pyra running droidcam-cli. My old Android phone works fine as a wireless webcam. Photos taken with fswebcam and video captured on the /dev/video0 with...

Building droidcam-cli from source on Pyra

Hi there Farox and aTc, Thanks very much for your perseverance here. The built kernel module loads fine and droidcam-cli works well. I can't seem to change resolution from SD (640x480) at the moment for photos or video, but that's probably my error. Thanks again.

Building droidcam-cli from source on Pyra

I removed the file2alias.o and sumversion.o objects and tried "make scripts" again, but it does not rebuild modpost. Also when I "make modpost" directly in the mod directory, I get the same error as above. Hopefully we can get some help here. Thanks for all of your efforts. Droidcam works well...

Building droidcam-cli from source on Pyra

Not sure if this is the right approach. i tried building the tools from the sources installed from inux-headers-5.6.19-daveiii-pyradef-aufs: fixdep built successfully. but modpost gives me this: rosie@zaphod:/usr/src/linux-headers-5.6.19-daveiii-pyradef-aufs/scripts/mod$ sudo make modpost cc...

Thanks again pyrat. Really helpful. i am learning a lot. apt list ~ramd64 and apt list ~ri386 both return no packages. env does not return CROSS_COMPILE or ARCH as a variable set. The output from the dpkg command is : dpkg -S...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I made a pre-preorder, received a pcb, and successfully got my Pyra. All worked well. I meant that I missed the first batch of sata adapters, which I would like. Incidentally, my Pyra is currently back with Evildragon as it is being repaired due to a power issue...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Me too. I expressed an interest with my pre-preorder pyra but missed the first batch. Being in the UK may be an issue for ordering from the shop though. I have the cables ready!

    Pyra not booting/charging

Thanks Wally. Yes, have tried with a number of different cables and chargers. All of which were known to work on my Pyra fine previously and work well now for charging other devices. I think Evildragon is right and I have a failed charging chip/main board.

    Pyra not booting/charging

Understood Evildragon. Unfortunately it is not blinking at all. Thanks very much for your help. Do I need to raise a ticket or send you my details? With regards my configuration, yes, i was hoping that was the case as although I have my home directory mounted to an external sdcard, there is...

    Pyra not booting/charging

[/MEDIA] Thanks very much for your efforts here. Much appreciated. Unfortunately, my Pyra is not responding to any combination of battery inserted, removed, USB power in middle or otg port, with no lights visible. Loooong press of the power button followed by short press does nothing and...

    Pyra not booting/charging

Thanks Evildragon. Oh dear. I have removed battery and all power for ages and tried booting with middle USB port and otg port (separately) plugged in. No lights or any activity visible. Power button does nothing with any sort of press. Power supply and cable are fine as they charge...

    Pyra not booting/charging

Thanks, yes, tried this. But no response at all. As Levi described, I am hoping that the Pyra is slow charging and when it has enough power to boot to fast charging it will do so. I think that is how it works, but can only remember a palmas discussion from a long time ago and an not sure how...

    Pyra not booting/charging

Thanks very much for the prompt reply Levi. I tried removing the battery and plugged in via the otg port, but got no response and was not able to power on. With battery inserted, it is currently plugged in by the otg port and I will leave it alone for the night. No lights visible...
