I am wondering why the pyra would use anything other than what hardkernel/odroid is using for their SOC. I know that the replacement board talked about was talked about for it's linux support but all odroid socs have to have linux support out of the box. They also support the SOC for at least...
As stated the background color is set as black and the text color is also black. I don't know where it's getting it from but it looks very very off and is something new. The last time I replied back before the pandora's heatsink was improved this was not an issue. I have not changed my browser...
Since the pyra's going to be using debian, and since you're going with 3.17 I see no reason to not use btrfs+zlib compression to help reduce the number of writes on the sd card, along with speeding up the overall reading of the data off of it. Admittedly it doesn't yet have lz4(which I hate) but...
So the thing is getting up to 70*C but is using _no_ thermal paste between the soc and the heatsink? Seriously? The hell's going on here? Using no thermal paste is the equivalent of using no heatsink at all. Seriousl, the what is going on here. I can't believe what I'm reading here.
I know that notaz's psx emualtor is fully optimized neon code but I imagine that many many people aren't using that level of optimizations for their mathematical functions. So I thought I'd share this library with you all since I'm sure it'd help with a lot of games that were previously just...
I know that the emulators are made by many various people, but still I have this idea in the back of my head about using the device as my on-the-go handheld/computer and then when I'm at my house, hooking it up to the tv, connecting a bluetooth controller, and then playing games on my tv. This...
As stated, if I preorder within the next few days. Can I be kept in the queue for a longer period of time? Mainly I want to wait until the "1Ghz" units are finally going through and they're the ones that are only being shipped. That's why I want to be kept in there until then, I have no problems...
Why is it that the pandora uses a layout that's completely different from every console since the SNES? It's one is xbay instead of abxy. I don't know why this is and to be honest I just I guess assumed that it'd use the same button layout as everything else that has ever existed ever. Always...
http://www.engadget....month-never-ga/
The link is up above, and on the site it's still listed as only having 256MB of ram, thus the article on engadget is reporting it as "exactly the same pandora" even though the ram in it is doubled. I don't know who is in charge of editing that information...
OK, now since I know the full run will start in February, and I'm one(in april so that it's here by my birthday). I know that this is probably a bit too hopeful, but how many spare parts are there and what's the lead time on the processors/memory that the pandora needs? Also will Open Pandora...
