    It's easier to use a fourcc changer on the original avi to change it from XVID to DIVX, then let your DIVX 5 codec handle it - this way you can have the GP compatible XVID codec installed all the time and recompress easily with no faffing around. http://www.divx-digest.com/software/avifourcc.html
