Theoretically Speaking, Is The Pandora At Least Capable Of Dreamcast E

Well, Ive not posted on here for a while, so hello to any old faces... I used to develop on the dreamcast back in the day, and one of the main differences (from an artist/designers point of view) was that the PVR2 chipset used tile based defered rendering, unlike most other GPU's that used...

    Multitasking Needs

It may not be a fully featured PC laptop replacement, but as i'm hoping to use it as an amiga mini laptop, it should be perfect. I currently use my HTC Universal for this, but the emu is a bit slow. You should be able to run Mac system 7 on it as well. And both these O.S. run fine at 640x480...

    Gp32 Amiga Emulator

A lot of the stuff runs at about 80-90%, but then it's had a lot of DC special customisations made. Might even be using the second processor as well (Arm chip if I remember correctly).

How Many Gp32's Have Been Sold Through To Consumer

You can buy a nice meal in Korea for two people in an expensive resaurant for a couple of pounds (and that's in the tourist areas, it will be cheaper else where). I think workers would probably get paid a couple of dollars on the production line (a day),so $6.5m would go along way. Don't forget...

    Pda-like Softwares

I guess as the AtariST was a home computer, it might have some programs to cover PDA functions. They will generally be the same res as the GP32, unlike the GB stuff. Don't know which software that would be, I upgraded to an Amiga fairly early. you'd have to make sure they run in low res though...

    Gp32 Win Ce

Wouldn't it be better to put more resources onto Linux? You'd get a lot more legal apps too. Iv'e got a WinCE 2.1 machine sitting here (one of the keyboard equiped ones, LG phenom) and it's such a resource hog, and chuggy too, considering it's got a 100mhz cpu. Although I have to agree with the...

    Games (tm) Magazine Disses Gp32

Retro Gamer mentions it frequently, and as they have covered the DC homebrew scene, there's hope they will cover ours. Plus Craigs full page adds every month help keep up our profile :)

What's So Cool Aout The Ds

[qu And to the guy who said it will be open to a lot of PDA apps, wtf are you smoking? your kiding right? DS dosnt run windows CE or the Palm OS or anything like that, NO PDA APPS will work for it without a complete rewrite of the code, and I dont think many ( although atleast one will ) PDA...

    33mhz Palm

PAIN: I kind of understand, just to see if you can, right? I run ST and Amiga stuff just fine on my xbox, but of course i'm dying to get it working on my DC as well....and even worse, I actually own an Amiga (..or two) and an ST ;)

What's So Cool Aout The Ds

It will make a cute little PDA, that's for sure. I'd like to see a little art APP, menu and zoom on the bottom, full screen pic on top. Or how about an RPG, with the GM able to drop in monsters, reply to chat using the bottom screen. I think the little DS has plenty of possibilities. Toxic...

    Http://www.online - literature.com/ And Lazyreader

A lot of Jules Verne and H.G.wells are also available, and make a good read :) On a related note, http://www.audiobooksforfree.com/ has books in mp3 format you can listen to. they don't take up much room either. Not as well read as ones you pay for, but cool none the less. And it allows you to...

Tobi Drummer - What Do You Want Me To Improve ?

I have to give you major thanks for this program ConsoleTom. My girlfriend was set on getting herself a drumkit for christmas, no matter what I said. Sitting her down with tobi drummer has distracted her for a while.

    Dune 2

Yeah, keep on programming! the thing I hated about dune2 was...it finished, and I wanted more of the same. +your version should have native speed, graphics and sound, should be better than an emulated system.

    Dune 2

Yep, iv'e been playing it for a while- the graphics are better than the original Amiga version, but it suffers from the lack of a mouse.

    The Next Gamepark Console

As for backwards compatability- the GP is basically an ARM, and an LCD display +some built in sound hardware. I put bets on the next one having an arm as well- so compatability should be good. dunno about SMC's though, they will probably use MMC or something ith more capacity.

    Want A Free Gizmondo

Having seen how cheap the PSP will be in Japan, i'll wait for that....and hope for a GP64 :) If the Gizmondo had a bigger screen i'd be interested, 2.5 inch is the same as the GBA. All that power wasted on a postage stamp, what a shame.

    Fat32 Or Fat

Depends FAT12 can read up to 16mb, FAT12B 64MB. After that FAT16. I don't think the GP supports fat 32 like other machines do. Really though, you should not need to know, format with the GPfilemanger, and all should be well.

    Fat32 Or Fat

Fat 12, if in doubt, format from within the software provided by gamepark. (Although I also formatted through my card reader and it worked fine.)

    Psx Emu

hmm, I don't agree- If it's not PLAYABLE then it may not count. Does not have to be full speed- especially for turn based stuff. Anyway, I doubt it will be playable. He was only getting one FPS out of it on a 40mhz GP32 emulator. On a 166 that would be 4FPS-not good.
