If you have any interest in producing art on a computer, GET ONE! seriously, after using a graphic tab for about a week using the mouse feels like trying to draw with bigfucking mittens on. I only got a cheap twenty quid one and its probably the best computer related purchase I've made yet...

IIRC the makers of the Z GBA emu were charging for it, something in the region of $30 as well.

I don't get that, Goldeneye WAS great but PD eclipsed it in so many ways. I'd go far as to say that PD was the best 64 game released in fact. What was it about PD that you didn't like

if you've never used linux before why not try one of the distros that runs from cd, that way you'll be able toget a taster and not have to actually install the damn thing. Not that its particularly hard mind.
Don't blame the polygons, its not their fault. Its developers who seem to think that slightly flashier visuals will suffice instead of genuine innovation.
