Is Anyone Still Working On Lynx Emulation?

Really a great device. I own a Lynx I and when playing with adapter you really can play for hours, because of the BIGGER size. My favorite games, no special order: - Zarlor Mercenary - Chips Challenge - Blue Lightning - Rygar A Lynx emulator for the GP32 would really be great!

    Must You Buy?

It's a reason, but not a reason to steal. Why not steal a bottle of wine instead of stealing the software?

It's a commercial program, so ofcourse you have to pay for it!!!

    GP32 Colors Colors Colors

In my opinion 256 colors should always be enough to create games for limited screen sizes like on the GP32. If you use some painting tool like PaintShop Pro then it's quite easy to let the tool create a 256 color pallete for you. You can do this by placing all needed graphics in a big picture...

I would like to have some original background music for Mahyongg game I'm developing, in MOD format when possible :D

GP32 Problems With Mr.mirko's Sdk Under Cygwin

I would love to try a windows variant of Mr.Mirko's SDK, cause I just don't have Linux installed. So a tutorial would be more then welcome.

    GP32 Rotation

I have the same problems when using math functions like sin() cos sqrt() they all return 0. So I use a .h with pre generated sin/cos tables. BTW, I'm using the devkitadv from Rico's website: http://www.thaworx.co.uk/ninja/

    Idea

It has nothing to do with your avatar. In my opinion the GP32 has a small user base which for 50% exists of (starting) software developers, because it's quite easy to create software for it. I think almost 100% of the GP32 users bought their machine for other reasons then the existing...

    Mahyongg W.i.p.

The first version will have adaptable tilesets but a fixed single playfield. I want to release working WIP versions as soon as possible and will release the source either when it's finished or ... when I don't want to develop on it anymore.

I had a look at the PC demo version and it really is great!

    Mahyongg W.i.p.

What other mahyongg game are you referring too? The reason for me to start with this game is that I didn't found a version for the GP32 yet.

    Mahyongg W.i.p.

Started working on a new classic game for the GP32: Mahyongg I just gathered some information, like game rules. Also created a tileset, based on some existing tilesets. Progress for the game can be found on my website, but I will also post in this thread. Comments welcome ;)

    GP32 Mode7 Driving Game Engine W.i.p

At least have a look at source published by Brain Postma on his webpage. He created some C++ routines for graphics and MOD playing, which don't rely on the gamepark SDK routines. http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~brianpostma/gp32.html BTW, can you explain what mode7 exactly is?

    GP32 Gp32converter Palette

I asume you know this, but the color pallete index is zero based. ;)

    GP32 Gp32converter Palette

I used the standard GpTransBlt function with the last parameter being the index to the correct color index which needs to be transparent. I always use index 255 for transparent so I used: GpTransBlt(NULL, &gpDraw[nflip], cursorcol * BALL_WIDTH, cursorrow * BALL_HEIGHT, BALL_WIDTH...

    GP32 Gp32converter Palette

    In my Cascade game I use a BMP file converted with GP32Converter. I also use the generated pallete to create a GP32 palette: GP_HPALETTE h_pal; /* Create palette */ h_pal = GpPaletteCreate(256, (GP_PALETTEENTRY*)avatar_Pal); /* Change palette */ GpPaletteSelect(h_pal); GpPaletteRealize(); /*...

    Zodiac Sites

Yes ofcourse, I'm interested too. But, in my opinion, asking for Zodiac links on a GP32 forum is not the right way. I'm trying to develop some freeware games for the GP32 myself and I'm frustrated by the begging (sometimes even demanding) of people for more, better and free code, while they...

And you dare to ask this on a GP32 forum? How lazy can you get
