    Waiting For My Gp32

Merry xmas for everyone on the "new" boards. Can't believe it's been so long!

    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

Just dropping in to say that Delta Force - Urban Warfare, which was _VERY_ stuttery before, is now _VERY_ smooth! But unfortunately crashes when you try to go to options, press start, or just after you kill the first dude. So close! But, as ever, awesome work :)

    The Different Gp32 Models?

What are the other two buttons for snes9x? I'm thinking of doing the overclocking mod... just need to get around to buying some suitable resistors really. But megadrive is indeed awesome! I think my main issue on SNES is that I like to play with sound... and some games really don't play well...

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Well, been playing with the gp32 for the last few hours... I'm loving it. SNES emulation with opensnes9x is surprisingly good, at least on some games (e.g. donkey kong country works pretty well). I do wonder what I am to do if I need to use all 6 buttons? Can it be done with combinations of...

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Well, I hope I never have to do that again! I decided I really didn't want to buy a cable when I was probably only ever going to use it once... so I opened up my GP32 and soldered on a standard USB cable! I had to figure out the USB pinout using the CPU manual and a multimeter, so for future...

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Okay, so my smc arrived, but now I'm kind of stuck. I created a folder gpmm on my smc and put fw.bin and fw.fxe in there (from slubmans firmware - pc link, non blu version). I did all this using a USB smc reader. I go into 'game' and it says 'SMC not inserted or no game exists'. Reading about...

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Great, I have one on order! I'm slightly concerned about it sticking out of the top, but it's still worth it I think. The GP32 arrived this morning... I'm stoked, it's in really good condition, in fact it looks barely used - no scratches or scuff marks on the screen or anywhere else, keys all...

    The Different Gp32 Models?

I've wanted a GP32 for years (just look at when I joined the forum) but never really had the spare cash. I was doing one of my usual random searches for cheap stuff on ebay, and found an NLU with 20 minutes left - the only GP32 on ebay. I just won it for a mere £17.16 posted! Awesome! I've...

    Dingoo For Girlfriend?

Thanks for the replies guys... pocketsnes looks good! And GBA emulation will be nice. The last real question then, is does the dingoo built in music player support playlists? I've searched around and found both references to using playlists, and complaints that it doesn't support m3u... what...

    Dingoo For Girlfriend?

I was thinking about getting a dingoo for my GF. She likes playing the odd snes game or two, and little games like tower defense, and doesn't have an mp3 player. So I was thinking it might be perfect, basically the form factor is nice - I can't see her wanting a canoo/wiz/gp2x/pandora etc but...

    Beta Homeworld

Nope, the source code for the game/engine has been released but not the game files. The source license is also quite restrictive... you can only get source code access after giving your real name and joining the relic developer network.

    Beta Homeworld

I ported (well, built) homeworld to pandora. See http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php?/topic/4104-my-first-contribution/ http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=homeworld-r907

    Backlit Keyboard?

Where are you going to put the LEDs? The pandora keyboard is not transparent, so the light cannot pass through!

    Beta Gish

Okay, tried the windows version and it works fine, so don't know what the problem was there. Thanks, can't wait to start playing!

    Beta Gish

I should have quoted the whole runpnd output.. before that there was not mounted on loop yet, doing so LoopMountedon: /dev/loop3 Filetype is Squashfs sudo mount -t squashfs /dev/loop3 mounting union! Filesystem is vfat So I'm still wondering about permissions. But I will try downloading the...

    Beta Gish

Aha - so that's where stdout goes! Well I guess I did something wrong, because I've got this: cp: cannot stat `default/*': No such file or directory cp: `default/..' and `.' are the same file ./gish: line 1: syntax error: "(" unexpected I can't see a folder called deault anywhere. Do I need to...

    Beta Gish

I've untarred the linux vesion of the files into the gish appdata directory, but after setting cpu speed it just exits. Could it be permissions? I think my SD is FAT32. Is this a problem? Clues?

    Wifi

    Wifi

It's a Linksys wrt54g (forget which version) with dd-wrt v24-sp2 installed It's on auto channel... it should select the channel with the least noise. But it seems to invariably pick channel 1. I'll try changing it later, when my house mate isn't having an important skype meeting! Cheers!
