    Gpodder

Hello everyone, I'm still looking for a nice way to listen to RSS feeds and podcasts with my pandora. Of course, one can use any browser for that. However, there is no way to manage all feeds and to stream them direcly to the pandora instead of downloading them in advance. So to my knowledge...

    Release Gemrb

Thanks a lot, indeed it logs under /tmp/pndrungemr61_run.out. If only I'd known that earlier :) This is definetly a good source to inspect if something is not working as it should. Concerning the widescreen mod: Actually it is way more simple than described in my earlier post. There is no need...

    Release Gemrb

If I'm not mistaken GOG only made some modifications to the windows executables, not to the actual data files. So they should run without any problems. Haven't tested it though.

    Release Gemrb

Sorry for creating another post, but finally I got IWD up and running. Since someone else might have the same experiences I had with IWD, my problem was that the Cache folder of IWD contained a subfolder named Data. I just got rid of that subfolder and voila. Small question: Is it possible to...

    Release Gemrb

Hi JurnD, PST is working great. So far I have not encountered any problems. Fighting, talking, inventory management...everything works nicely. :) Concerning my problems with IWD: I was having a quick look at the .cfg files within your PND to check the folder structure needed for IWD. Just...

    Release Gemrb

Hi Nupfi, just have a look at your PST folder. I needed to copy all .bif files directly to the root directory. If I'm not mistaken these are the area files all infinity engine games need. I think GemRB is looking for the relevant .bif file but not able to locate it and thus quits.

    Release Gemrb

:D Indeed, that did the trick. I just put all *.bif files of cd2, cd 3, and cd4 directly into the root directory and now it works nicely (now the intro is shown as well). Thanks so much for your help!!!

    Release Gemrb

Hi JurnD, just wanted to report back on your updated PND. I copied my freshly installed PST (including all cd1 - cd4 folders) to the SD into a pst folder and started GemRB. Pst opened (although without the credits), the menu screen appeared, I chose to play a new game, created a new character...

    Release Gemrb

Yep, I've copied my install of Iwd to that folder. Luckily I've the CD version lying around as well. I will check out this version tomorrow and see how that works. And thanks for your updated PND, already looking forward to play PST! :-)

    Release Gemrb

Hooray! +1 Thanks a lot for your work on GemRB. I'm already looking forward to visit Sigil again. Short extra question: I recently installed both BG and IWD on my Windows PC and copied all files to my SD (into separate folders of course). BG is running fine, however IWD refuses to work. I've...

    [Solved] Descent 1 Not Starting

Phew, it has been a long day. But finally, after reflashing the firmware (and not encountering more challenges) I got my Pandora booting and running again. And......now I can play some Descent, it really works! Thanks to all for your help and keep your fingers crossed ;-) Dak'kon

    [Solved] Descent 1 Not Starting

Thanks both ED and torper, maybe it is just not my day today. I downloaded the most recent HF (HF4 beta2) and executed the .pnd. At a first glance it went smoothly, no errors were displayed and I was asked to reboot.... Due to whatever reasons the boot loader now claims "failed to load kernel"...

    [Solved] Descent 1 Not Starting

Hello ED, thanks for your quick reply. Hotfix 3 is installed. Following your suggestion I've tried Mupen64 and indeed, Mario64 is not showing up. The display goes completely black with a blinking cursor at the top left (just as a terminal). However, the sound is working ("It's a me, Mario") so...

    [Solved] Descent 1 Not Starting

Hello everyone, long time lurker, now first time poster :-) I received my pandora last week and so far I got most of my 2D games (AMIGA, SNES etc.) and applications up and running. Yesterday, I tried my first 3D game, Decent (d1x), which unfortunately does not start at all. A look at the...
