    What is a mapper?

Hi. While trying to load some ROM files on an emulator I received the message "Unsupported Mapper", I wanted to ask what exactly is a mapper since I've seen this term a lot in the emulation scene. Thanks.

Help me decide between GP32 and Zodiac

That's another thing, the over clocking, as I understand it some GP32s can and some can't, is this true? has anyone had any problem overclocking his system? now that I think about it, how does one go about overclocking the system? Is there any way to be guranteed a clockable version?

Help me decide between GP32 and Zodiac

Well, it's not just 200MHz it's also 128 MB of RAM compared to 8 MB on the GP32 as well as dedicated video and audio chips. I agree that it is a bad investment for a person who only wants to play games and not use it as a PDA, however, as it stands right now, I don't know if the GP32 will ever...

Help me decide between GP32 and Zodiac

Is the PSP open-source as well and will have emulators on it? if not it's not really a consideration for me. Can anyone tell from experience what it's like to play SNES games on current emulators on the GP32? are they anywhere near playable? Basically, if SNES works well on the GP32, and I...

Help me decide between GP32 and Zodiac

Hello Everyone. I was about to buy a brand new GP32 when somebody directed my attention towards the Zodiac... I'm now in a big dillema. Here is the thing: I want a gaming device, specifically for emulation, I don't want a PDA nor will I ever use any of the PDA functions on the Zodiac, however...
