Backlit GP32 confirmed for next month.

This is great news. I had been emailing companies about this and got nowhere. I'd even got a response from Triton labs, the people who sell Afterburner's and they said it would cost in the region of $80,000 to research and wasn't worth the money.

    GP32 Light

Yeah, I had though of the idea of LED's but I'm not convinced that's a satisfactory solution. There's some pretty damn bright white LED's out their (my nokia 8310 phone for example) but I think it would be hard to get this lighting quite right.

    GP32 Light

Yes it can be removed. It's just a plstic surround. It's function is to keep the screen exactly in place. It stick to the gum/glue on the inside front cover and on the back is the 4 white clips I mentioned. Next time I open up my GP32 I'll take some snaps of it.

    GP32 Light

I've been doing some preliminary research into a Afterburner type light for the GP32. I've emailed a few companies today and I'll let you know if/when I get a response. I reckon from the info I've seen on these company websites and after opening my GP32 up today that a front light + seperate...

    Capcom at GP32

I'd give my left dangley bit to get CPS2 emulated on the GP32. I've just ordered one so should be getting to grips with it soon. If anyone's interested there's a webby at www.cps2shock.com with th eteam that helped crack the CPS2 emulation on the pc and a guy who's coded his own version of...
