does this mean while it's off? whenever i plug it in, it boots. i haven't had a lot of time to play around with the pyra yet but charging/battery life is giving me nightmares.
the very first thing i plan on doing with my pyra is slapping a screen protector on it, and seeing as how mine should be shipping sometime in the next couple weeks (fingers crossed), i'd like to be prepared.
does anyone have any recommendations? are protectors in the size of the pyra's screen...

i've recently become an lxde convert (as far as low-resource environments are concerned)... definitely plan to use it on the pyra. used to think xfce was The Way but exposure to lubuntu has swayed me.
AVahne, i have an original 2009 "bulgy edition" battery that i got a replacement for because it was causing damage to the battery cover. if you can live with its lumpiness (as far as being a battery concerned it works just fine and is at probably ~80% health) it's yours for $20 shipped.
