    Vic 20 Emulator

It is true, but don't let it put you off writing a Vic 20 Emu! ;) It's by the same pirate group as the NES clone-with-games on PCEngine (Run Byte IIRC). It's far from perfect though, as the sound is a bit iffy and, as I mentioned, part of the screen is chopped off (making Omega Race...

    Vic 20 Emulator

They aren't compatible without some fairly extensive modifications. Some Vic games did get released with the C64 version (I have a copy of Arcadia at home that does this) so that may explain the Gorf situation. It is true that many bits from a C64 emulator could be re-used for a Vic one...

    Vic 20 Emulator

Hi all, I think I've seen this requested elsewhere, but I can't find it on the search so I thought I'd put in a request. Does anyone fancy writing a Vic 20 emulator? We've got our C64 and Plus4 emulators sorted, but not one for the good old Vic! I've been playing on my machine at home...

    Emulated Scrabble

Yes, the GB/GBC version of Scrabble is apparently the best (better even than the GBA version)... a friend of mine is addicted to it: http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup/warmingup.php?id=27

    Should I Flash My Gp32?

I flashed my GP32 to Multirom without problems - later I wanted to try the Euro BIOS (before the multi-BIOS with it on came out) and flashed that. It was ok, but I preferred Pacrom so I went to flash back - I did so (accidentally) using the flashing tool for the Euro BIOS, not the tool that I...

Flashing my firmware with the new European one.

Thanks Vince, I've already mailed the great mr spiv, I really hope he can help! What would be really great is if there was some way to buy the JTAG cable and software to fix the problem - I know I'd buy one (obviously!) but it also makes more sense than sending a GP32 thru the post a few...

Flashing my firmware with the new European one.

I hope this is true as I managed to screw up my GP32 when flashing back to pacrom... the machine won't boot anymore at all :( Can anyone tell me a way to fix my machine at home? Or does anyone offer a repair service for idiots like me?

my SMC got corrupted - this happen to you?

I'm referring to this (from the snes9xgp readme file): If you want to write to a save file, you must save in the menu before turning off your gp32. Access the menu by pressing start+select after loading a file.

my SMC got corrupted - this happen to you?

I've discovered my SMC cards (various sizes/makes) often get corrupted after I've used snes9xGP - after I've reuploaded all the corrupted files, it all works fine again without me 'repairing' the SMC. I'm not certain, but I think the save state functions in snes9xGP must corrupt the SMC somehow...

    The last snes9x release

I haven't read any reports of problems - I guessing that 133 is seen as the last 'safe' speed as it's the maximum some machines can go without crashing, so it would be unfair to suggest that you can overclock higher. I've had no problems as yet (touch wood) at 166 on my FLU GP32.

I think he might have been joking... as I hope you are!

    *bows* No problem.

Any way of turning off the fps display in snesemu?

It is possible to switch of the FPS counter using a hex editor - do a text search for 'FPS'. Once it finds the string you'll see next to it ' %d' - that's where the code puts the number in. To remove the counter, replace all the characters (ie 'FPS %d') with spaces. Hope this helps - it...
