Please don't kill this thread!
I have read everything relating to joysticks on these forums and I have personally used three usb joysticks with the gp2X.
The first recognised the analogue controller only when it was pushed to the maximum in any direction but not the digital d-pad on the same...
Can anyone post a list of usb joysticks that work properly on the gp2x that they have personally used and the emulators they have used them in.
Has anyone tried the x-arcade dual joystick?
People seem to have a lot of confusion with the cradle. What you do is:
1- Remove the batteries and push the rubber EXT cover into the battery slot.
2- Connect a three port powerboard to your mains.
3- Connect the mains plugs for GP2X power adapter, cradle power adapter, external hard drive...
I had a whole heap of problems getting my GP2X to recognize my hard drive I was using through a cradle while using 3.0 firmware. After changing to firmware 2.11 it found it straight away. This may solve your problem.
