I agree its not only for developers, maybe he should have said a lot of the users also code for the system.
I don't think the GP2X will ever be a serious business tool
They did mention you have to own the games to run them
So what if he said roms and emulator, neither are illegal to talk about...
First of all i suggest you watch it before commenting, two people did not go on the show, they were there to check that the information which was said on the show was accurate, just the same as Microsoft did the previous week when they did a feature on setting up Xbox Live.
As i understand it...
What i was meaning is, i want to see if the guys who are making the GPX2 what it is are going to jump ship.
If they start coding for the XGp then i would much rather go for that. I am not bothered about emus etc as i have my GP32 and Gizmondo.
The funny thing is i don't think i could have done the GP2X justice that is why i did not offer to do it. I still follow the community but don't have a GP2X yet i want to see how the XGP is going to turn out before i commit myself to either machine.
It is not upto me to put things up on this...
Yeah your spot on there Evil Dragon. When you have two agency reps telling you things you don't question it, you just take it for the truth. I would have thought they would know product they are trying to market.
Urm he is not the site admin, i am...
He is the show producer.
As i keep saying the forum was given the chance of sending somebody but nobody would do it, so you can't say somebody from the forums would have been better as nobody could be arsed, so they would have ended up with nobody (and no...
Well i am willing to say that the producer did have Craig’s details, i know this as it was me who passed them on.
From what Craig said it sounded like they had contacted him, but he was to busy to do the show.
Yep its a UK show.
I know how loyal and passionate the members of the GP community...
It's not for me to comment as i don't work on the show and feel that it would be unfair to do so.
If the review of the console is kept in this weeks show, i would hope that it would be more what you are looking for.
It is not my position to tell you guys what happened but i do know the full story and while it seams like it was the fault of the show it was in fact not. I know it’s easy for me to say this without anything to back it up but you will just have to trust me on that one.
Friday morning you will be in school, plus we are going for a more older audience.
I am having a job with the producer, he is not very keen on payback and will not run any emus on the show due to legal issues.
Any other suggestions?
Got the GP2X through today and will be recording the episode with the review on Friday. So far i am facing a battle trying to convince the producer that the machine is a very good and worthy bit of kit...
I am not 100% sure how it came about. I do not work on g@mers, I just help out with research/info/comments on the show, where i can. As you can imagine, we are doing E3 specials at the moment and i am not sure if the plan is to feature the GP2x before or after those.
I think its unfair to ask...
I contacted craig a while back on the caj (a uk term) but heard nothing so got the impression he was not interested.
G@mers rates very well for Rapture and is only behind Full Metal Alchamist in the ratings on the channel (and even then its very close).
G@mers plans to record the GP2x bit very...
I come here with a bit of news, UK gaming show g@mers is set to showcase the GP2X and the producer of the show is looking for some infromation on the specs (wants to make sure everything is right) as well as what games/emus/apps shoulds be showcased in the review.
I would be grateful...
To begin with i think the US company was going to try and go on, but as far as i know they have also given up (maybe wrong though).
The console is worth getting for Sticky Balls and Trailblazer, both great games, that would not look out of place on the PSP.
Yes the offer is still on, they are reducing all the Gizmondo stock at HMV due to the company going under.
It may have been more, but i seam to remember somebody saying only 12 HMV stores in the UK stocked the Gizmondo (i may have been wrong).
The last time somebody did a stock check...
Do you read what happened with the gizmondo on the gizmondo forums? Or do you just go there to hack people off?
The Gizmondo was doomed from the start, because it had shady people at the helm. Even if it had sold x10 the amount it would have not saved it.
They were set to make money...
