Total change of subject, but all GPFCE for Pandora really needs is working Vsync and some scaling options. The rest is already done. I know nothing about coding, but I assume that's a relatively simple job that most guys could pick up.
I can move around with the left nub fine after selecting the joystick in the game menu, but no luck on the joystick buttons. My .conf file is like your example, which is default anyway. Anything else I'm forgetting to do?
Yep, works now. Thanks.
I think I will switch to this for my NES emulator of choice. I'd love if you add cheat support (I think mednafen supports .cht files), but I guess some kind of UI would be required for that. Yes, I'm a wuss but some NES games kick you in the balls.
It can't be too hard to put in HW stretch to full screen. It's just a matter or priorities for the dev.
I'll probably switch to mednafen for my NES emulation because of 4:3 scaling and perfect vsync, though I have to admit I like having cheats in FCE ultra (which I think the PC version of...
Short answer, no.
The best you can do is use the ginge-wrapped gpfce. That is full speed, high compatibility, and the software horizontal scaling works. It won't fill pandora's widescreen, but it will stretch the screen from the native 8:7 output to the 'intended' 4:3 ratio.
