    What have you bought recently?

I like the idea, but I wonder if I would use a watch 5~7 years to get to the savings compared to a battery powered watch. I do also have a Philips headset with a solar power headband (I think it's the same brand of strip used) which probably works but it's more likely the 100h battery life makes...

Zen4 is from 2022, Zen5 from 2024. Zen4 isn't antique, and Valve uses a custom design, but I think they went for this generation to reduce the costs. Best guess it's a Hawk Point made on TSMC's N5P/N6 process nodes, that node is roughly 25% cheaper compared to Zen5 on N4.

    GPLv2 or GPLv3?

Or you could have some relation between the total amount you made from your work and the amount of time past. If your work takes a time to get noticed you could get full compensation, and for each year after that the compensation is lowered. I guess the total copyright/patent system should be...

I would expect that they have a bit of an older hardware produced on a cheaper process node to get the price as low a possible. A Steam Machine at $800 would still sell but it would get crazy if it's $400 or less. My expectation is that it won't be cheap, even though the Steam Deck was really...

Should i get a open Pandora in 2025 and what apps do you recommend?

Pyra has an advantage on the hardware side. But he Pandora was optimized for years making it feel nice and extending the battery life a lot.

    Absurdism corner

At the speed of light you wouldn't see a difference between 101% or 99% speed I guess, especially in a local setting where the distance is tiny. That's why a super-highspeed camera is useful so you can observe. Also, the light you can observe on the camera actually is not the light traveling...

    Absurdism corner

Sometimes the obvious is hard to see. Plus as far as I know we actually never confirmed light has a fixed speed in all directions. While it makes sense, sending a laser pulse to the moon and back only shows an average speed in both directions. And it's addresses in the video.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

The game clearly tried to out-compete Mortal Kombat by having more gore and more secrets. But the losing limbs part, while a novelty (like in Time Killers), undermines the use of other attacks which is a shame. I think there was a stage where you could jump into the background to fight a secret...

Did you play Time Killers? Blood Storm was a big upgrade but it still contains things from Time Killers.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Halo 3 ODST is still an FPS but the experience is much different in my opinion. Still enjoyed it though. And it features a virtual Nathan Fillion, in case there are Firefly fans here (yes, he did much other stuff to :)).

I think PSO2 is my favorite, but I guess you haven't played that one yet. It might be different for you in that case. Not many new PSO games are introduced afterwards, so still worth a shot. --- I read this (free) service provides a similar online experience, and provides the option to download...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

No, I actually switched to PSO2 (also Dreamcast) before reaching the end. And after that to Universe on the Xbox 360. Had the Playstation Portable version and Japanese PS Vita version to. I also have the PSO bundle on the original Xbox but played Universe more on 360. Losing all in-game progress...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I played Phantasy Star Online (1 and 2) a lot. The idea was that you play with others but I usually played solo. So, initially you invest a lot into upgrading so you can actually play. But after that it was good.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I like RPGs but I also feel like they usually don't respect your time. Which I didn't mind when I had time to spend, but I also have to spend time on other stuff these days. When I've vacation I pick-up games that take more time, but usually still no 200h RPG. But that doesn't mean I dislike...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I've started playing "Another Brick in The Mall" where you build an area full of shops and services (like supermarkets and restaurants). It gives me a Theme Hospital feeling while it looks like 'Prison Architect'. Not played it long enough to know all the flaws and limitations yet. Steam:

Talking about Windows 10, today support (updates) stops unless you pay for extended period of upgrades. Unless you are in the EU, you can request these updates for free but it does require having a Microsoft account. If your hardware and conscious allows you, the update to Windows 11 is...
