You can enable the user auto-log feature under [System]>[Manage User Account].In that way the selected user will be automatically loaded on startup
without having to select it by yourself.
Win2X version 2.0 is now released! Here what changes in this version:
> Implemented shutdown command
> Implemented auto-shutdown function
> Added Multiple user environment (PLEASE see the documentation on how the user environment works)
> Reconstructed GPH apps menu(now includes the LineDraw...
Thanks Neil!It is almost done...
This is not a bug!It is supposed to do this because every executable is assumed to be unique...Do not worry though because in version 2.0 you will
have multiple user support in which every user can have different links, desktop, settings etc..
Nice to hearing from you Titan!Yes,I have already implemented a normal shutdown function(by user demand) and now I am working on the auto-shutdown.
Also in the next version(which is almost complete) we will finally get rid of the ugly yellow shutdown screen!(But unfortunatelly not the start-up...
OK.I just now saw that...Thank Neil L!And thanks to Orkie for his implementation! Now we will finally have a shutdown command in Win2X!
DaveC...About the window size:I can't promise anything for now because I'm little short on time, but I will see to it in some of the next releases!
About the...
I am searching on that Neil but no luck so far...The worst case could be the (orange)image files to be embedded in some of the filesystem boot
files(which I doubt)...Anyway nothing is impossible in electronics so we will eventually find a solution to that too...
Thanks fett42 for your feedback!
1.Your first suggestion will be a little bit uncomfortable if implemented.Because with the touchscreen(in comparison with a mouse device)you can execute an option by single-clicking on it but you can't select an item by just moving a cursor on it...So the select...
Yes,Titan I have had some problems too...Any SD card has its own signature that is recognized from any system that uses it.If a process requests memory access to an SD that is not there any more(or a different has replaced it) the results are unpredictable. But this situation can be...
Thank you Neil L for the info!According to my code, you do not have to turn of the WIZ in order to change SD.You can do it on the fly and Win2X will recognize it...
Please try it if you can,and let me know if it works....
OK...I didn't read you last post..Win2X recognizes the SD removal but not...
Hmmm...interesting suggestion rorque...I will consider this one...Yes,it can be easily done, but please remember that any visual effect added into Win2X requires more RAM and eventually more CPU cycles.I just want to keep Win2X as plain and faster as it can be...It is a fact that in the past...
Indeed...I'm thinking on it...and I will do add some sound unless it slows things down...maybe some start up sound mostly would be nice...
The screensaver's purpose is to save battery energy by turning the screen light off and preventing the "burn" issue that other users have. But a
screensaver...
The previous post refered to the desktop SideBar.
Well, even if I move these fields(text and description) to the taskbar,we will need double this size plus some more in order to have an extra icon row.
Thank you Neil L...About your suggestions...
1.I'll fix it...
2.This is connected with the above issue...
3.Requires much of reconstruction but I'll see what can be done...
4.It will be done!
5.For the moment...no.
6.I think you are suggesting a left sidebar with the GPH apps?Hmmm...in that case...
Comics and Record are not supported as commands from the GPH menu...I am aware of this and I will replace them in the next version with something
more usefull.
About ts_calibrate..is a as I suspected,an initialization problem that has to do with the TSLIB plug-in...As long as you set the correct...
Thank you milkawax!I do as much as I can and I'm glad that Win2X is supported so much.
Well...I fixed the ts_calibrate...Now it runs standalone!Did you try that out?If you did please feedback on me because I'm very interested on this...
And you are right about LineDraw...It will be done on the...
Thank you Titan!Glad to hear you are using Win2X and you like it...
For now I'm working on the next release (v2.0!) which will features "Multiple Users Environment" and a text editor...But any suggestion or idea
is much welcome!Thank you for your support!
The text alignment is already fixed for the next version. Also the text will contain no more than 9 characters for the desktop, just to prevent overlapping with neighborly icons...Thank you for your feedback!
