    GP32 Driving Game Update!

Thanks, it's actually almost playable in the emulator :). It's definatley sluggish, However that video is not sped up, so that does give some indication of the kind of performance you will get at a faster clock speed (haven't decided exactly what speed yet). I'm using the official SDK, but I'm...

    Please Check Out My 'mod'.

LOL, soon the PC, Xbox and DC guys will have to port Squidge's version back onto their systems. :) Squidge has done such great work with this port.

    Hay Guys

I would love to join in, but i use Dual screens @ 1600x1200 each, so the image would be pretty big. Besides, it just looks like an unthemed XP(like W2k). Though one of my screens is nearly full of icons. Don't ask me how I manage to do it?

    GP32 Driving Game Update!

I apologize in advance that I won't be entering my Driving Game into the GBAX competition. There are various reasons for this, mostly because of the lack of time I have available. I have however made some progress with it. I have ported the majority of the code to the GP32, and although I am...

GP32 Ext Port Question / Ir Update

When you are finished with this mod, will you be planning on selling the unit? Or are you going to send robster(www.cobbleware.com) the schematics so that anyone may make use of this cool project?

    Replacement Outer Cases?

You won't need to create more than one mold at all. Resin sets almost instantly (less than 10 mins), so once a perfect mold has been made, you could make about 5-6 cases every hour. A mold, depending on the material, would probably hold up for about 100 or more casts. So perhaps a new mold...

    Replacement Outer Cases?

Well, I've been investigating the possibilities of custom paint jobs (proper artwork) and I would have to charge a lot more for them. Not just because of the extra materials, but because of the sheer amount of time required for them. They also wouln't really stand up to daily abuse...

    Snes Controller Mod

It's dead easy. I did clay molding when I was at Art school, but recently I discovered Aluminite. They have a range of products for tasks just like this. The only difficult thing is making the actual prototype casing to take the molds from. But like I said, that is something I have...

A fast Atari Lynx emulation ?

Well, remember it took you two attempts to get BOR where it is today, so if at first you don't succeed..... You better not fail by the way  ;)

    Replacement Outer Cases?

I'm looking into it right now. Hopefully I will eventually be able to offer this service in a few months. As well as a selection of colored alternatives. I can't promise anything though. Some of the GP32 case parts will require quite complicated molds.

    Snes Controller Mod

Here is a concept mock-up of what I plan to build. Anyone got any comments/crits on the design? Would you want such a device if it proves to be possible?

    Laptop Out, Coding Away

I don't know what it is, but this little handheld attracts some real coding gods. Right now, there has been so much great stuff going on. It feels really great to be part of this scene. (Even though I've just ordered my Zodiac, I won't be leaving)

    GP32 Okay - I'm Going Colour Mental

Oh and here is a useful color macro. Just give it regular 24bit RGB values. #define GP_RGB16(r,g,b) (((((r>>3))&0x1f)<<11)|((((g>>3))&0x1f)<<6)|((((b>>3))&0x1f)<<1))

    Help Replacing The Screen.

The FLU screen is meant to be held in place with double sided sticky tape. There is nothing special about what you found in there.

A fast Atari Lynx emulation ?

You can ignore the artificial resolution. That means absolutely nothing. It just refers to the actual amount of physical pixels on an horizontal line. Counting the R, G and B channels seperately. If you did that on the GP32, it would have a resolution of 960 horizontally. It's just a...

    Jtag Flashing For Windows

Well, if you look at the picture on mr.spiv's site, you can see that the orange cable is soldered to a white cable and is also connected to a resistor or something. I can't tell if the resistor is desoldered on one end, or if it still makes a connection to the PDB on the right hand side. Btw...
