Hooka. It could be possible to use a cd device for the gp32. infact you could youse a dvd. all that would be needed is a USB dvd/cd Drive some form of extra power for it. a converter to convert standerd USB to the GP32's USB port and some software that understands it. The only problem is t hat...
This is a good idea as you can put more into the bios and startup program. you could put a cupple of big games into this so you save space. the only thing is what do you plan on putting on your new big flash chip?
Loki666: how did you get around the resolution problem i'm quite curious as that can be used to get around other games aswell. also what errors are comming up for the sdl problem cause I think there are specific code that the gp32 sdl doesn't understand so a few hacks are probbably needed here...
EdZ: The Idea behind openttd is that you CAN play it on windows. it has been totally recoded to work in windows. all you need for that is the windows files which you can get easily looking round the ttd forums tt-forums.net
loki: I would say the best way around the resolution problem is to either half the graphics size or change the layout. the subsedies(sp?) come up and you carn't click them off aswell. all boxes should be smaller to fit on the screen. If there was a piece of code to srink everything by half that...
If anyone can help me set up the gp32SDL then i'll have a go at porting this to the gp32. i'm no big programmer but i think i'll be able to find what we need changing and change it

I use it and have completed monkey 1 many times. if it's gong too slow just save. restart and turn midi off then do that part. or d/load a over clocked version and try that
it's easy to do.
create a directory called scummvm on your card then in there put your games
each game should be in it's own directory.
for each game only certain files are needed
samnmax files are samnmax.s00 and samnmax.s01 just rename them to samnmax.000 and .001
if the game contains .000...
It makes no diference how many post someone does to give help. someone with over 1000 posts could just be bullshitting were as someone who has less than 100 tells you what you need to know. newbies would trust the higher poster. I mean I help out with all scummvm related questions as i've had it...
I don't think that dosbox would work. the best thing you could do is create a sort of dos program that runs dos and not emulates it. it required the 8.3 format of files and the old pc are about the same power as the gp32. it would take a little bit coding but i think it will work if someone...
