    Has GPengine stopped development?

Woohoo! =) Thanks Black for that confirmation. It was more than I hoped to hear. Multiplayer?! Wow, time to get an RF adapter. *drool*

    Has GPengine stopped development?

Well... It's great, yes, but it's far from "perfect." It could still use some optimization to reach 60FPs with 100% speed (this is probably possible given enough determination), and there are lotsa things to add and/or fix yet. No emu is ever really perfect, but GPengine could certainly...

    Has GPengine stopped development?

Just wondering if GPengine is still being worked on. Not asking for any details but just a yes or no. It's such a good emu, I hope the author's haven't gotten bored of working on it. I know that can happen tho. :( Sorry if my post is annoying for the authors, but I just can't contain my curiosity.

FLU owners - dust, trapezoid etc.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. :P Yeah, I think that opening around the frame is a problem. But more importantly the FLU needs to have things sealed inside to keep dust out. Then the frame opening wouldn't be such a problem, if that is the way dust gets in, not sure. Anyway, neither issue...

FLU owners - dust, trapezoid etc.

I've had my GP32 FLU for a couple of days so far, and have two issues. First, I notice dust particles accumulating under the screen. It's not a huge deal, but they are there. It reminds me of some PDA's and the GBA Afterburner. I wonder if there's a way to safely open it up to use condensed air...

    Tomak Patch?

Read my post here: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?act=ST&f=2&t=1192 Good luck, it's worth it. Just wish the game had autofire cuz it requires too many button presses! Otherwise it's good.

    I'M ANGRY... NGPC cancelled?!

No NGPC emu... Someone must DIE. Time for Nutzo to go NUTZO, no where's my ninja sword... Seriously tho, I don't see why an emu author cancels an emu to punish a leaker? That doesn't really hurt anyone except for us patient fans who didn't leak anything. Heck, all we got were some screenshots...

Buying from JoyGP vs. Buying Retail Package

Yeah, the one company we should try to respect is Game Park, otherwise they could die and we'd have no future GP versions. :( That would suck. I'm hoping for a GP64 someday. :) I don't mind buying GP32 games at all - they're inexpensive and you can easily patch them with upgrades - very cool...

Wish there were some other GP32 colors...

Ya know, many GBA users (myself included) like having more than one in different colors. It's fun for users, and a great marketing gimmick for Nintendo. So where's my black GP32?! Or maybe even some other colors. If I could buy a black GP32 FLU I'd order one right now. Plus some RF units for...

Need to disprove a GBA loving liar.

Well said Octavius. I have both systems and they each have their strong points. But you really should see PocketNEs on GBA - it's amazing! =) I'm sure in a few months time GP32 NES emulation will pass it by, given enoug htime and work, if only because the GP32 screen and controls are better...

    Suggestions for GPengine

I think they already intend to add load states, saving is already there actually. One more idea: (and it's really cool) 5) ISO support! Hugo supported this, so the source code to do it is available. The PCE CD ROM was no more powerful than the PCE, so aside from reading data off the ISO, the...

    Suggestions for GPengine

To the talented authors of GPengine: First of all great job! The GUI is sweet, and the emulation is off to a great start. Here are some ideas I hope you'll consider: 1) Autofire implementation. As you know the original PCE pads had autofire switches for I and II. I think it might be cool if L...

    snes emulation

Yeah, but that term "full speed" never tells the full story. Full speed, but with how many frame skips? If he means TRUE full speed (i.e. real time 60 FPS) then that is amazing! Even without sound, SNES at 60 FPS 100% speed, or even 30 FPS 100% speed, would be great. Of course, sound is always...

Tomak - where/how to patch this?!

Found it! In case anyone else needs help, here ya go: Go here: http://www.seed9.com/kr/download/download....=seed9_download Then point to the file folder icon that says "gp32_t_2_1.zip" when you hover over the icon. Click and it will let you download this file. Once downloaded, unzip the...

Tomak - where/how to patch this?!

I bought Tomak (boxed smc) and it's the old version. I want to patch it to the new version as mentioned at www.insertcoin.com Problem is - where the heck do I get the patch, and how do I properly apply it to my Tomak card? Someone here must have this game and patched it? Thanks!

    GP Engine 0.4 Problem

Try using the Japanese version, it's called "Gunhed". Exact same game, just a different (and interesting) title screen. :) Japanese PCE games tend to emulate with less problems because US games used an encryption. But if it's an emu issue, then the Jap version may still have the same problem -...

"failed to open USB port"... HELP!

Yahooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) The problem was VERY WEIRD but it's fixed. I have a new (and very nice) combo printer/scanner/copier/fax/card reader called the Canon P80. It's really great, but apparently for me to use PCLink for GP32 the printer MUST BE ON! Once I turned my printer on...

"failed to open USB port"... HELP!

I installed to my old PC (also Win98), and PCLink worked. I have tried EVERYTHING to get it going on my current PC and all I get are "failed to open USB port" or "timed out" or "unknow error" when I start PCLink. So basically I'm totally screwed and don't know why. I can't consistently use my...

"failed to open USB port"... HELP!

Just got my GP32. I installed PCLink 1.3, and installed the USB drivers for Win98 which is what I use. I connect my GP32 to USB port, turn it on then put it to PC Link mode and it says "Now waiting..." Then I start PC-Link and all I get is "can't open USB port"! Authentication Wizard (gpreg)...
