    NEOGEO

"MVS didn't have SFA3.. it had King of Fighters and a bajillion other fighters, mostly bad " Skeezix, NeoGeo had many GREAT fighters, including some of the KoF's, the Samurai Showdowns, Last Blades, Garou, Real Bouts, Waku Waku 7, and a few others. There were more good fighters than bad on...

    NEOGEO

Erm... SFA3 ain't NeoGeo. It's Capcom CPS2. Wrong company, wrong hardware. Aside from that, NeoGeo emulation on GP32 would probably be doable to some degree, considering it had the same CPU as Atari ST atho 50% faster. But the real problem is RAM. GP32 has very little RAM for NeoGeo games -...

    GP32 Controler stick.....

Yeah - the NGPC stick was THE best controller EVER made for a portable system, and the GP32 stick is almost the same. It takes some getting used to at first, I recall that on my NGPC too. But once you do you realize why it's far superior to those miserable cross pads on Gameboy. Accurate...

PacROM - do you have to flash it?

Just wondering since I'd like to try PacROM but without flashing it first. Can you just install it like a normal fxe or something and try it out?

    256 MB SMC Working...

WHERE?! Where are these fabled cards? I think it's bullcrap. I just searched Samsung ( http://www.samsung.com/Products/Semiconduc.../datasheets.htm ) and the biggest size Smart Media is 128MB. I think someone is just jerking GP32 fans around. I need to know if this is really true or not...

New info about SNES9xGP at GP32news

See www.gp32news.com - they posted an updated report on the latest SNS9xGP beta from Intellecto. Here's a snippet, check the site for the full story of course: "Speed emulation is better than the last release. Sound is more faster. Intellecto used Groepaz's sound mixing sources to increase it...

    Tomak Patch ..

Skeezix, I have the Tomak SMC too, here's how to patch it. Just go here: http://www.seed9.com/kr/download/download....=seed9_download Then click on the file icon for item #14. If you hover you'll see it's called GP32_t_p2_1.zip No need to login, just download it. Then use PCLink and choose...

    NeoGeo CD emulator

This guy is 100% correct. As weird as it seems, NeoGeo CD could probably be done to some playable degree using ISO's sans music. Sadly Neo music is fantastic... But hey, it would still be amazing.

    Dungeon & Guarder...anyone have it?

Her Knights (All for Princess) is a great game. I know it's not on JoyGP, but I highly recommend it. It's one of the only commercial GP32 games I can honestly say is worth buying. It's a scrolling beat'em up, like D&G, but much better. Very well done. Pinball Dreams is good, I got that at...

    PC Engine CD Game?

It's totally possible on GP32. The PCE CD was a bare bones CD player, 1X (150kps) speed IIRC, and aside from extra RAM there was nothing else - once you have solid PCE emulation you pretty have what you need to run CD games too, aside from code to read data from the ISO's. There's Super CD...

Someone make a decent GB already!

I can vouch for gpvgb v.11 running Tetris DX, Zelda DX, Mario Tennis and Pokemon Gold on my GP32. Sound is odd, because some games sound good, some awful. Tetris DX and Zelda DX both sound good IIRC. I wonder why some GP32's can't run these things? Weird - I guess Game Park uses different...

    Can the joystick break?

I love the GP32 stick, it's just like the NGPC which was my favorite controller for portables. I don't think it will ever break from normal use. It uses microswitches and those are sturdy. Of course, if you drop your GP32 who knows, just be careful. Don't know about ASR but Her Knights comes...

    Luckiest GP32 Owner Ever

You got a _BLACK_ GP32 _and_ a FREE SMC?!?! I hate you. ;) Can you PLEASE post some photos of the black GP32? I've never seen what they really look like, I know I can just imagine it but I'd love to some pics.

    Oh the pain... the agony...

God I can't wait to see the new version of GPengine! I'm gonna dance around the house when it comes out. :P I wonder what all Black has added or improved? He already mentioned multiplayer for example. :P GPengine - ya just gotta luv it!

    how to run demo's on a GP32?

You can't play those on a real GP32 AFAIK. They're just meant to be commercials for people with PC's to see what GP32 is like. They helped me to decide to buy mine in fact. :)

    GP32 GP32 USB port

Man a USB mini-keyboard (like the ones for PDAs) would be so cool for GP32. I was using the MSX and C64 emsu yesterday, and every time I saw BASIC come up I would wish I could start typing in some programs. :) I used to know BASIC really well and could code up simple games really fast - it was a...

    New GP32 Owner:

Mafen is right, the GBA was the same way. My AB GBA was a good install and it has TONS of dust now. The GP32 FLU is better IMO. The only fair comparison would be if Game Park makes a "GP32 SP" redesigned with lighting as part of the spec. Keep in mind the FLU is just as much as a hack as the...

Why would someone think the GP32 could play any PC game without porting? Must be some weird rumors floating around.

    English PC-Link 1.3.1 released

From the news page: "Source: GP32news" Haw, I posted it here first! Oh well. ;) I used it BTW, and I don't see a big difference. 1.3 was fine for me. Anyone noticing anything truly better with it under Win98? Maybe I was just lucky before.

    English PC-Link 1.3.1 released

Yeah, it's at JoyGP. Just click on PDS to find the download link. I haven't used it yet, but it's supposed to be more stable on Win98 I believe, altho 1.3 worked OK for me in Win98.
