There is always a korean popup-message when you start an application over the freelauncher. I recommend you read some of the setup-tutorials on the net.
I own the GP32 for just one month. Since that time I installed three improved versions of GPDoom. In the first version I installed Doom2 won't run, there was no music and no possibility to save games or to load external WAD files. The current Version is already very satisfying! What will be...
I remember having lots of additional WAD-Files for Doom and Doom2. Complete WAD-Packs like the Cobra-Wads and other cool stuff. If I find those outmoded CDs again I test some of them. Wasn't there a link somewhere here (in a news about GPDoom) to a cool ftp-server (from idsoftware or gamers.org)...
I agree Evil Dragon, but in this case it was a question that is actually uninteresting for non-germans. Next time I write a personal message in german and post in english :D
If you know how to run a emulator on a windows platform you know everything to play.
Installing and setting up the GP32 is fun. Almost all programs I tried on the machine work very nice.
No matter where you buy your console, if you order your GP32 now you will pay around 200 Euro, if you wait till the european release you will pay 150 Euro.
Plan A: Chill, think back of the time when you don't know about the GP32 console, you lived pretty without it and now you can wait another...
Windows Platforms are no sane environment for Internet-Connections! Use Linux and forget all your virus, worm and trojanic worries! ;)
As far is I know the Sobig thing is a mailspreading virus, an attachment you have to launch on your PC in order to get infected. If you delete all messages...
I know that the PCEngine-Emu "GPEngine" can handle zipped ROMs. By the way, GPEngine is one of my favourite Emulators: Always looked up to PCEngine games back in the days when I owned my C64. B)
Yes, this release rocks: Music & SoundFX fit well together, the save functionality seems to be improved, the first time I can load Doom2.wad, so what can I say? Version 1.0 can come, give thanks and praise! :)
Thanks for the interesting statements. I tried the fireware flash under GeePee32 and as I started the emu again ... it didnt work
I just received my GP32 from Hong Kong today, so you can imagine whats up first. B)
I like to run a FW that is most compatible with all diverse software. I don't want to flash the FW again, for example before I can use a special program.
By the way is flashing FW really soooo risky?
Hi Folks,
I would like to know if you recommend a newbie to flash the gp32s firmware
Can I use Filemanagers like Windups without flashing the FW?
I read about limitations, movieplayers that wont work with homegrown FW, is that true?
Thanks, Thyphoid
