_sys_judge_event() is like the calls in <signal.h>, it detects requests for the program to terminate, that'w what allows the program to automatically exit when you plug in usb, I don't know how to stop the program busy looping though yet.
The _lcd_get_frame isn't the LCD's internal framebuffer...
Another forum and wiki isn't going to help, we already have a good wiki at http://a320.bluwiki.com and two sets of good forums (here and http://a320.freeforums.org). Splitting such a small community further is quite bad, I find it hard posting releases since I have to go to multiple forums.
I...
Here is a minesweeper game that I've made for the a320.
The controls are:
- The D-Pad moves the cursor.
- A uncovers a tile.
- B marks a tile.
- Select takes a screenshot.
- Start exits.
The playable game is available here...
Here is another sample, this one loads a texture and displays it on the screen, get it here: http://flatmush.juliusparishy.com/a320/Texture.zip
The texture "test.tga" has to be located on the root of the internal drive, it has to be a 24-bit tga top-left to bottom right at the minute, since...
Ok, I worked out some new information regarding the display system, my last sample did not use double buffering but I worked out how it works.
_lcd_get_frame() returns the address of the display buffer.
_lcd_set_frame() updates the lcd with the contents of the display buffer.
g_pGameDecodeBuf...
This is what I got so far for entry.a:
dl_main
run_console
GBA_card_write_rom
write_gba_card
vxMem_Info
GBA_Get_Rom
GBA_hardware_init
getext
AppMain
void abort()
int printf(const char*, ...)

This sample shows you how to compile C programs which directly access the frame-buffer and controls, so that you don't have to use the s2dsdk. This gives you full control of the machine so be careful, I still have things to work out but for my first day with an a320 I think it's pretty good.
If...
Well I've had a crack at this recently and managed to make some nice sounding notes. All music notes really are, are sine-waves with harmonics, so these sites may help:
http://www.phy.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonic_series_(music)
As for the implementation, I...
I don't think vsync has anything to do with opengl, opengl is graphics only it doesn't really care about the display. I use glfw which provides the windowing and vsync stuff so I think it's mostly platform dependant.
Here's the answer on how to do it for linux, dunno for other systems though...
I found a bug when panning down by a lot of cells, possibly going over a major boundary of some sort.
Also is it really necessary to have 30MB of music with the download, surely it could be compressed at a lower quality or something.
But otherwise it's a brilliant game and really good fun...
Uh that's not always true, a more true statement would be: "To summarise further, fixed point or integer arithmetic is never slower than floating point."
Much as I'm a fan of fixed point (made a whole astro-lander game in it), there are limits to what can be achieved easily in fixed point. If...
OK as it seems like it upsets people on here if there is any kind of negative tone this will also be my last post in this thread.
The facts are people have payed money and even those wanting a refund are waiting for it with no indication of when that's going to happen, no matter how you look at...
Well for one I'm sure craigx said he'd been sleeping normal hours recently (how dare he!) so I don't think that's a reason to blame, and you could turn the whole thing round and say that if they're not breaking even it's their fault and they should've either charged more or stop whining about...
