    Raspberry hit by manufacturing error

Iprice, how do you know your pi was coming in May?, all I've had so far is an e-mail from Farnell thanking me for my interest, and another from RS components saying they'll contact me within seven days which they haven't, I'm betting I'll get my Pandora, before one of these babies shows up...

    Whitney Houston dead, aged 48

I read it here first, and that's the only shock about this story, also I just had to explain to my thirteen year old cousin (girl) who the hell she was.

2 Months..... umm, weeks to go (2012-02-06)

Personally I'm a batch two preorder'er and haven't paid to upgrade, and I don't really care where I am in the queue now as it's fun to watch the project get on it's feet at last, so everyone's welcome to pay a premium and jump in front of me, with an added benefit of when mine gets built most of...

OpenGLES support advancing in Nux and Unity

I thought I read here (forums), that at some point the OP team may start selling sd cards preloaded with iso's, or that iso's may be downloadable of distro's compatible with the arm architecture, I'm sure it may have been mentioned by Ed, ( I'm probably wrong), so I was replying to the post as I...

The PS vita processor in the pandora?

That's just a guess as to how much Sony is paying for the processor, and they'll be buying many many thousands, OPT even if they could get that same cpu would be charged a lot more as they wont be buying nearly as much, "economies of scale" I think is the term used here.

Buy it, or not? Why/Why not?

Good grief, you spend a few festive days away from the web and you miss all the interesting stuff thats happened, and double the ram!, a question though ED will the pandora pcb's returned to you by "upgraders" be roconditioned before being sold on?, and will we be able to get hold of enough bits...

    Getting closer... (2011 - 12 - 01)

Cheers Wizardstan, or should that be "sorceress", I've just told my wife that I'm a "subset" of the population, #68, she said she already knew that. Sitting here reading away on my eee701 wishing I had a bucket of popcorn and that lebob23 would come back, great fun! :D

    Getting closer... (2011 - 12 - 01)

So it's really is CC's fault then the swine, your'e right ED you can't afford to throw away parts you've already paid for, and you really do need to keep your new supplier on side, perhaps in a years time when the pandora is in production you and Craig can write a book of the birth of the...

    Getting closer... (2011 - 12 - 01)

I bloody knew CC would screw you over on the parts they held, I think the export documentation is a load of bollox, fed ex would have checked it was ready before they attempted to collect the items, that's what they do with a friend's company, (custom hardware for mobile use), which he exports...
