Nothing especially exciting here but now woogal has released the toxicbreakfast entry in the crap games compo, I've updated my site with a couple of things that have been floating around.
So thrill to the Scrabble Checker which gets used a lot in toxicbreakfast towers.
And just after...
You can't include a file from another server like that. You could write a script which uses GET to store the output of that file in a variable and then display that.
Here's something I just untangled from an old project. Not tested or optimised but here you are....
#include "gpdef.h"
#include "gpstdlib.h"
#include "gpstdio.h"
void GpMain (void * arg)
{
F_HANDLE ini;
ERR_CODE err;
int i;
char launch[256];
int path_len, data_len, enc_len, gxb_len...
I considered that but could you really be arsed fannying around, trying to put a password in, everytime you just wanted five minutes of Lacuna or whatever?
I'm not sure I understand the question. As I said, I made the firmware myself. A firmware is a 32K BIOS linked to a standard fxe file which is your launcher. Look for a program called gpfw; this can be used to split the bios from existing firmwares and to link a bios to an fxe file. So I...
I made my own. Displays this on startup:
and makes a loud MOOOOO noise!
Boots YAFL if I press A or B, the Gamepark Euro firmware if I press the shoulder buttons (which I only use for games YAFL won't load) or if I press Select, it reads a config file of the SMC and boots the file specified...
Well, you can at least open the folders with a batch file:
explorer c:\path\to\folder
but no you can't resize or move the windows this way.
EDIT: Or perhaps you can! B)

I made a Scrabble dictionary for the GP32:
but haven't bothered releasing it yet as I'm not sure its really of any use to anyone else.
But I've got a couple of lists of official scrabble words if they are needed. To be honest though, for Scrabble on the GP, I just use the GBC version...
Funnily enough, I was going to follow up GpKat and GpKash with GpGash. I had a fantastic concept worked out for it; however when I approached my girlfriend with ping-pong balls and a camera, she was most unco-operative. I was only trying to involve her in my hobbies :unsure:
No, its Yank. But it's still really good and one of my favourites on the GP32. There's an inferior C64 version - I can't remember what flavour of English that was in.
Thanks all, for the nice comments. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see in a future release, particularly any currencies not currently featured. Useful ones only though, no silly ones like Bhutanese Ngultrums please :D
Off on your holidays? Taking your GP32? Of course you are! And now you can work out just how much you are wasting on cocktails and tacky souvenirs with GpKash, the foremost currency converter for the GP32!
GpKash features:-
* Eleven world currencies. With more possibly to maybe come...
