The game seems nice but there are a few issues that made my play session unenjoyful (does this word exist?).
Here are a couple of suggestions:
1. The flying bugs speed is too high, avoiding them is hard. (They are also too big, maybe changing either the size or the speed will do...)
2. The...
That xml text book format is almost perfect, but for the gp2x it would need some changes.
One change needed is that html tags must be removed from the text, 'cause they would be extremely hard to implement in SDL and it's not worth the work...
There may be cases where the tags could simply be...
I used to read a lot of gamebooks when I was a kid...
I like the idea and I can help you if you want with both graphics and interface code.
I downloaded that java game and I can say that even without the sourcecode, the books in that xml format are really helpful and should make writing the...
I know but my suggestion is to modify gPSP to do this automatically and not manually.
If your suggestion was still the same then ok :P
Anyway, I'm doing some modifications to gpsp.
Nothing related to the emulation, but something to solve annoying things.
Already implemented:
1. Added a sync()...
I think that a good idea to solve (at least temporarily) the issue with games that don't load if you don't start a working rom first is to modify the emu so that it load the gba_bios.bin by default at start.
As a side effect there will be the default gameboy advance animation at start that IMHO...
I understand your request, I'm not offended and I'm not flamin you here but my opinion remains the same.
The apps shouldn't underclock on their own.
Having a command line parameter to avoid that is a workaround to the side-effect I exposed before but here's what'll happen...
A casual user...
If the devs underclock automatically when the app starts, you won't be able anymore to choose the clock via a script or gmenu2x.
I think the way things are now is fine.
sbock made a little patch and posted it in this thread earlier: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showt...mp;#entry467007
Lately I've hade some time to work on gmenu2x again so 0.8 it's in the works.
Your method seems ok if you want the frontend to wait in the background while the launched app is running but maybe it would be better to just exit and rely on the autorun function to restart the frontend when the launche app terminates.
That is the sourceforge project page, not the website. The advanced instructions are only on the website cause I wanted to avoid having to update the instructions on multiple locations (I'm lazy).
I'll include them in next release.
I don't use usb so I haven't tested it too much but I received feedback stating that everything works fine.
I don't know if it's something new related to fw2.1.
Maybe it's just a sync problem. Try changing scripts/usboff.sh to this:
#!/bin/bash
sync
rmmod g_file_storage
rmmod net2272
Also, do...
I don't understand why they don't mention important things in the changelog. Yet they paid attention not to forget to mention their a\/\/3s0m3 1337 useless transition effects...
