very nice! I noticed the difference right away with Quake (in fact I saw it happen as it was loading).
i simply added a line to the end of my autorun.gpu file which loads gmenu2x:
CODE
#!/bin/sh
cd /mnt/sd/gmenu2x
exec ./gmenu2x
exec ../App/colourd_070717/colourd.gpe
:D thanks!
got mine today, came installed with firmware 3.0. Im currently in the process of trying to get drmdx (7a) to load a rom. after that, ill get snes, nes, gameboy, mame, etc. all setup. wish me luck, ill be around with questions shortly :D
yup, that seems like the best option to me as well. perhaps I'll take a stab at it - i havent touched C for years, but I still program every single day. I would rather start an Oregon Trail clone first though...
once my GP2X gets here (today) I'll get the SDK and whatever else I need.

an actual retail unit like the gp2x has so many additional costs. it would be easier at this point to just get a nano-itx board, and get creative with the casing.
edit: and if you wait a little longer, the pico-itx, which is 1/2 the size of the nano...
i dont believe so. please dont mistake this as a disgruntled post, i'm happy to have it on preorder. Just figured I would mention this, in case someone else was thinking of getting it from the same website.
