Strange, even without having my Pandora I still feel that OP have fulfilled my order in a way. Just participating in these forums/boards was a giant first for me and well worth the money paid for the actual hardware. lol, I have a $300 membership in a specialised music website/forum and I rarely...
Why don't we all show our support and get at least 3100 more replies in this thread saying so?
Come on people, it's up to us too to keep the Pandora alive. We should give ED and the rest of the gang an indication that most of us are still here and intend staying.
The OP team have my support...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think if you unmount the file system/s on the drive when not actively used it is practically the same as having ejected it (i.e. like being in an "off" state) so I suppose Linux won't be continuously using cycles checking the state of the drive and thus...
Hiya folks,
For those who have not yet invested in large capacity SD cards for their Pandy or who want even more extra "permanent" storage, check out this new Verbatim USB flash drive
It is basically a usb flash drive from 8GB to 32GB capacity that is so small that you could stick it into...
Well, I'm hoping that the board company does not have their own user browsing this forum :)
They might feel offended and sulk and add to the delays for revenge :P
I wonder if I had a hand in getting TheReg to actually do the write-up on the Pandora. I had sent a mail shot to them on 26th May to announce the first shippings when Craig was grumbling that we were not getting coverage from the home country. Maybe they've been keeping an eye on it since then...
I added the -I to force the vfat partition to BE the whole card instead of a partition ON the card. I don't know if the Pandora OS accepts this but I suppose Linux is Linux and so far I never had problems doing it this way. If you want to do it on the first partition then you would first have to...
mkfs -t vfat -F 32 -I /dev/mmcblk0 will create a single fat32 partition on the sd card. Just make sure that the sd card is really /dev/mmcblk0. I don't have a Pandora yet and cannot confirm.
EDIT: this doesn't preserve your data or check your sd card for errors. It's like a quick format in...
It might be interesting to know (for those who don't) that you can keep a copy of your sdcard partition table with:
sfdisk -d /dev/mmcblk0 > mmc.out (just guessing the sd card device name since my pda and phone use that, I haven't gotten my Pandora yet)
You should later be able to re-write the...
sorry jutley. you missed the ones that are at the side and on top of the other stacks, which make an additional 10 packets x 4 cables. You must wait another 2 light years like all others for your prize.
Height of the box suggests 10 packets. There are 9 stacks +1 "stack" stuffed in the side space. that's 10x10 packets = 100 x 4 cables = 400.
400 cables. Now send me my Pandora :P
EDIT: @Prometheus & @Mali. I said send me MY Pandora ;) I am not even asking if I won one. I have one paid and am...
