I can answer for you: no one on the team has tried this yet.
video decoding on the DSP is much higher priority, and the source already exists. If anyone were to do any work involving the DSP at this stage, that's what they'd focus on.
Oh nice, I wonder if it is! that would be cool.
Yeah, Corn is awesome, before my time though. Too bad Contra never open-sourced it.
btw is exophase.com your site?
Exo, thanks for the info, I had trouble finding much info on CORN. I'm completely NOOB at all this Emu-writing business so I apologize in advance for other errors I'll no doubt make :P
Aninhumer, I didn't think I gave that impression, which section made it sound like that?
[edit to completely change my post]
It seems like it would be very hard, it depends if there's a very well defined SDK that you also have access to, and you'd probably have to port the SDK first.
ion, basically this is the process:
Source Code -> Compiler -> Compiled Code (machine code)
Just looking at it like this, it seems like you could do
Source Code <- decompiler <- Compiled Code
the problem is that the Compiler step is not a 1:1 function. It makes some alterations that cannot...
I don't think the resistor affects anything the wifi chip does signal-wise, just the way its buffer / etc interact with the host side.... is that not correct?
i.e. the resistor was messing up its timing so it wasn't sending the sdio data correctly.
Do you think that the paint will get in the keyboard holes? that could affect / cause key stickage if it makes the keys too tight (or it could make it just right, who knows)
Yeah, I don't think some people realize how much developers want this f**king console to come out.
I've got at least 2 apps that are pretty much ready to go, and I've got probably 5-10 projects I hope to finish in the first year, all targeted specifically for Pandora. I am also planning on...
I think the android port was just a quick and dirty port by one developer just to see if it would boot, not a concerted effort to get it compatible / stable by a group of dev's who will stick around (no offense meant to original porter, that's just how I saw it.)
Someone's gonna have to standardize the input interface for emu's, among other things, if you want this to work out.
Seems unlikely unless it's in place before a bunch of emu's get ported, or if it's easy to port to.
Every time they do this I feel like a chump.
Why ship to Turkey? there are laptop repair shops a few miles from Village Hall, I can guarantee it. Let me send $20 to the high school student who does the SMD soldering of ONE resistor so I can get my Pandora now. Heck, just send it to me with...
IDK, why have a camera with a proprietary a/v connector that uses proprietary memory?
It's Sony, they probably did it because some department head said it would increase PS2 sales. Who knows, I just see them making mistake after mistake this generation. Which is pretty sad considering how...
