From what I am reading, there is no way to discover network shares, one must know what shares exist, and explicitly mount them. Not what I was hoping for.
I guess I will stick with the USB cable for transferring files to my Pandora.
How do I connect the pandora to an external share (share on desktop PC)? I was attempting to use Thunar, but I don't see how to get it to search for a network share.
Is there a reason to use the non-standard sata adaptor rather than just use a USB3.0 to SATA device?
Would it be possible to add a cam to the case mold so that some small percentage of the cases can be made without that double wide space bar that some of us hate with a passion? You don't need...
I don't understand why the apple MacBook even has the headsets jack. The USB type C standard supports headsets as well. They could have designed it with just the USB type C connector.
But just because Apple does stupid things does not require other manufacturers to follow them.
Since you obviously have not actually read the USB type C specification yet, here is a link: http://www.usb.org/developers/docs/
Not only is a USB 2.0 type C port fully supported, the spec goes into detail on how to implement it.
I believe ED mentioned that for a new processor board, the USB...
Type C connectors do NOT require USB 3.1. You can implement USB 3.0, USB 2.0, even USB 1.1 devices using a type C connector. If you are not using the super speed signals, you don't even need extra electronics.
The USB type C connector is less than half the size of the USB micro B super speed...
The micro B USB 3 connector is such an ugly connector, it will die a very quick death. Not just because it is ugly, but mostly because it take up so much space.
None in stock yet, but you can at least order them now

Using this connector would probably require additional components with the...
Thank you so much for dismissing me as a "minority". As a Dvorak typist, that double wide space bar is the ONLY thing I care about. Getting rid of it would be a minor inconvenience to about 10% of the normal typists, but would make my keymap possible. With it there I won't be doing much typing...
I would be happy with the double wide space key split into two normal keys, and a good keyboard editor.
With the keyboard as is, it is impossible to have the keymap I want. Two letters need to be where that space bar is.
Need some clarification here... What exchange rate does the "USB-Host Currency Converter" use when converting Dollars to Euros?
Is the Modem Ignite a cigarette lighter? How does it work?
What happens when we get a SOC that integrates the USB super speed pin switching required by the type-C connector? Does the SOC connector pinout support 8 wires for the 4 differential pairs associated with the USB type-C connector?

No USB device is allowed to draw more than 100 mA without first negotiating with the host for more power. USB 2.0 allowed up to 500 mA after negotiation.
USB Chargers are a bit different, they advertise how much power they can supply using resistors on the USB data lines.
USB 3.0 upped the...
