^ There is some kind of workaround for the icons. You can use the file manager (thunar) to access the desktop folder within home. The desktop folder holds all the launchers that you see on the desktop with xfce.
Its possible to fix doing some polishing. Everything depends on the products you use. I have used these for polishing a DS and a GBA screens:

^ Post your niggles here, if it isn't really hard to fix maybe I can give it a shot (or any other motivated forum member). For rotating the board hold Y (the button, not the key) and use the dpad to rotate the board.
Thanks F_Slim! Will look into adapting the touch controls, is a good idea for the playing part. I'm not really a chess player so my wife's uncle is doing the testing on the engines. So far he can beat Dreamer but even doing very meritorious games he can't win Crafty yet. Whenever you are up for...
New version. You will need to delete the appdata folder.
(hopefully) Fixed the weird settings saving behavior.
Removed mouse cursor.
The music folder now is: appdata/dreamchess/share/.dreamchess/music/matt_smith
Please test and report any issues ^_^ .

Edit: I think I got it, tonight will post a test version here.
Thanks for this port ptitSeb! We used to play the N64 version on weekends with my brothers. Lots of fun and lots of memories. I love this version too.
I'm having an issue with controls when loading a saved game. When the saved game is loaded you can see the mouse pointer and when it reaches the...
^ Check www.pandoria.org, Sswan have two fennec pnd's there. Maybe one of these is the one you are looking for.

Ok. Try deleting the appdata folder. Run the pnd once without copying the main data folder and check that the folders where properly created. Then copy the main folder (without autoexec and wolfconfig cfg's) and try to launch again. Also, as TrashyMG said, check that the data files are updated...
^ Try deleting autoexec.cfg, hunkusage.dat and wolfconfig.cfg that are within /main folder. Maybe those files are causing issues (the proper ones are already included in rtcw/home/.wolf/main).
