    GOD does this look dorky.

GOD: ALSO, TV KIND OF MAKES ME LOOK FAT, WHICH IS A DOWNSIDE. BUT THE WINDOW-WASHING GAME KICKS ASS. SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE-POST, NO ONE'S PERFECT.

    GOD does this look dorky.

GOD: IF YOU'RE ASKING ME, THE ANSWER IS YES, MY SON. THIS DEVICE DOES LOOK DORKY AS HELL. BUT YOU NEVER REALLY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT, DO YOU? UNLESS OF COURSE YOU'RE ME, BUT THAT'S JUST THE ADVANTAGE OF BEING THE SUPREME.

"L & R", tsk tsk. Bows humbly to Hokutoy. :D

How do you unselect auto-load program?

I accidentally selected the Scumm emulator to automatically load every time I enter Pacrom. And as you probably know, like most GP32 programs, ScummGP allows a reboot of your machine, but no other exit options. I'm loving Day of the Tentacle, but at some point this has to end, so can you help...

    Decompressing Audio

When I opened a full length movie in VirtualDub, I received the following message before I could do anything: "VBR audio stream detected VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing...

Got a GP32 today cant get it to work......

No, not at all. But once you have had the unit for a couple weeks, downloaded GP Cinema and a couple of emulators, and read a few FAQs on flashing the firmware and such, you will never have to worry about your GP32 again. Have fun, it only gets better!

    The Simsons

I love The Simpsons arcade cabinet, and I don't know anyone who doesn't. So I know exactly what you mean when describing the hypnotic powers it has on gamers who wander in the machine's vicinity. Playing The Simpsons on Mame, however, was a bit of a letdown, as the price of a continue was...

Help the GP32 by NOT making a GBA...

I agree with Rico, Cartman, kraahl, and anyone else who believes Gamepark cannot be sued by Nintendo. Gun manufacturers cannot be sued because some people "misuse" their products, too. As long as Gamepark does not intentionally advertise emulation and illegal rom trading as a selling point...

    How cool is this thing!!!

I remember the last time I tried purchasing GP Cinema, I ran into some trouble at entware's website. An invalid ID or something of that sort. Guess I'll give it another shot, because playing movies on the road was one of many reasons I invested in a GP32 in the first place. EDIT: OK, guess I...

Got a GP32 today cant get it to work......

Also... make sure the SMC is faced the correct way in the GP32. To do it wrong will often render the "USB port failed" error message. The gold contacts should face nearest the bottom of the unit, and inward toward the GP32's screen. Perhaps this seems obvious, but the manual is misleading here.

Rlyeh betas demoing at the meet....

Good idea, I second that notion. In fact, if the Great British meetup turns out as great as it promises it will, I may be inspired to organize an American gathering of the same nature, next summer. Best of luck, guys, and I wish I could be there for all the excitement!

    Gamepark, their own worst enemy???

Right, Gamepark has done well so far through word-of-mouth, but one thing every successful commercial product relies on is advertising. I'm happy they made the Mitsui move, this was very smart in my opinion.

    fNES multiplayer option...

Ok man, these games rule. You have great NES tastes. Axeman, I'd also try these sports titles: Super Dodgeball Goal! Ice Hockey Dusty Diamond's All Star Softball Ralp99 suggested the wonderful Balloon Fight, a colorful fun-as-hell non-sport game where the temptation to be devilishly...

    Idea for an SNES emulator.

That's very intriguing Myth, and seems like a viable alternative to 9xGP's current configuration scheme. It won't be as useful for, say, Zelda 3, but Street Fighters may very well adapt to this setup. Can't wait to hear some more comments on this one. :)

Slime Volleyball is a clone of the simple yet brilliant Blobby Volley, originally a German game I think. Download it at the Underdogs games site, it's a blast.
