    Post funny quotes!

Yes, that was a Homer classic. Here's another: http://www.bestsimpsonsquotes.homestead.co...remember_it.mp3

    Name of this game..?

That's friggin' hilarious. I didn't realize they even dubbed out the word "ninja", but I guess they had to when they censored the name. LOL.

    Post funny quotes!

Shame on you Kirb! You know every "Favorite TV quote" thread becomes a "Favorite Simpsons quote" thread from almost the start. Anyway. I've always liked: "Why me? And he said 'Because you're on television, dummy'." -- From the movie Network, on the Howard Beale Show.

    Name of this game..?

...for that reason, and more importantly, because a smart marketing exec realized vandals would scratch the P into an F on all the arcade machines.

What type of poster are you?

    14. (5 B's, 1 A, 1 C.) Good and funny poll Gen, thanks. The only thing that would make it better would be to replace every "do you" with "you". Would that make more sense to you?

    Whats Going on?

PRETTY much right. A GP32 is about $250 for a good FLU version, case, and SMC. But we might as well not stop after the consoles you mentioned, as there are a lot of fans into C64, Scumm, Genesis (we all know it'll be great soon), and Atari. And of course someone else will mention a handful...

I will say it again!! The GP32 is not dead!!!!

Yes, the GP32 is dead. I shouldn't have used a Super Nintendo adapter with it, sure, but the unit just screamed "SUPER POWER!". Kidding. For most people, the GP32 represents a small niche market in handheld gaming. I don't see any consoles yet threatening that emulator/homebrew appeal of the...

    Holy overreaction!

I didn't make it clear. I meant you could have locked the original thread and sent a PM instead of a message at the end of the thread. But, if it's spam, it's spam. I won't take issues with your rules because it's not my place. Sorry for calling you a coward. On another note entirely, NIN...

    Holy overreaction!

You really got me with the "sensible isn't your forte" line, but while I usually surrender to posts containing accents over vowels, I have to take issue with your defense. I've already pointed out that there were several reasons to lock the thread, "stopping an argument" not being one of them...

    Holy overreaction!

Rico was right in closing the thread because it was off topic, misleading, and the following posts were all mean-spirited. But did you read Rico's post, Dozer? He obviously didn't care if anyone was offended. What makes you think a moderator should always play it safe, and what's wrong with...

So, what did you buy this weekend?

shoelaces Oh, Flack, you were just showing off what you bought, weren't you? Silly me, I thought you cared. :P

This is total bull****! Europe launch delayed

Personally I do not trust Samsung. A few years ago they supplied Dell PCs with DVD/CDRW combo drives (when they were expensive). Some weeks or months after owning one, users experienced problems with the drive not responding at all. The drives simply could not read CDs or DVDs. The only...

    Anyone have any D-Pad troubles?

Yes :) Personally, I like the clicky sound. It's the handheld equivalent of clicky industrial-built keyboards and arcade sticks. BTW, anyone have any definite success in making the joypad less sensitive? I'm considering trying the rubber washer idea, but I want to do something that's...

    Cleaning the gp32 xcreen

Hmm... it appears that old thread is no longer in the history. I recently bought a 100-pack of damp lens wipes, found for $1 near the sunglasses rack at Walmart. They work great and, since the GP32's screen is so small, I only use about 1/4 a cloth each time I clean it.

Hotrod PC arcade controller (for MAME) - $100

Those considering a HotRod, may first like to do research on the X-Arcade, a board Shane from Retrogaming Radio personally endorses. The X-Arcade is comparable in structure, but the closer positioning of the joysticks on the dual unit makes it more suitable for some games (Robotron, I think?)...

    Goodbye

I'm sorry you think so poorly of the community. Usually I just avoid posts I don't feel like reading. Goodbye, and I hope someday you might come back!

8-Bit NES hardcore freaks - have a listen

And damn, you beat me to saying "beat me to it". I love OC Remix, especially some of those Chrono Trigger mixes. Hey, I can't believe someone mentioned the Minibosses, and no one has given a nod to the true kings of 8-bit rock, The Neskimos!
