    AC adaptor

You'll also need to check the polarity of the charger before using it with your GP32.

    Credit Card security

I'm fairly certain you're protected from fraud on orders over £100, but if you're really that worried I'm sure you can arrange to send them a cheque? That way you don't have to worry about someone cracking the 128bit encryption key and getting your credit card number, it may take a little longer...

    GP32 power indicator

Hmm... well it was just an idea, I had noticed that my Li-ion battery for my mobile phone lasts nearly twice as long as the NiMH version, but I'm guessing that has no relevance here as both are 3.6v. Any more details you can dig up will obviously be useful, though :)

    DIY backlight and factory

This may be a silly question, but how difficult are these DIY kits to fit? Is it something that you can do in 5 minutes without any tools, or will it require a bit more involvement? If it's a difficult procedure, would you possibly offer an upgrade service, where people send you their GP32's and...

Possibly might be selling my GP32

I'm definately interested in this, assuming my GP32 hasn't already been ordered that is. I'll add you to my ICQ and we can take it from there. Just out of curiousity, how much would it cost to ship all of that to London (that's the proper one, not the one in Canada)? I'm assuming you'd want me...

    AC adaptor

You would be better off getting a multi-adaptor such as this; Multi adaptor You should be able to find one that allows you to change the polarity as well.

    1.2v Rechargable NiMh batteries

I did a bit of research, and it appears that rechargeable batteries supply ~1.4v, even though they are rated 1.2v, although they do drop a bit as they are used (like captain9fingers) said. I've not been able to find any 1.5v rated ones though, where did you find them Swiss_Cheeseman?

    New GP32+3 games+64mb card+Moviepark for sale

There's a pentium IV specific version of virtualdub, which will (obviously) refuse to run on an AMD processor, which is where I'm guessing he got this idea from.

Did you try the program I sent you, using the instructions on that web site?

    1.2v Rechargable NiMh batteries

To quote Vangard: Now, who is correct?

    1.2v Rechargable NiMh batteries

I was under the impression that they would damage the equipment over time, but apparently I was mistaken as someone corrected me in a recent post. I'm not entirely sure who's right now, I know that overpowering would shorten the lifespan of your GP32, as for underpowering, I'll have to do some...

    New GP32+3 games+64mb card+Moviepark for sale

I have an AMD processor and I can encode them... I'm assuming you've downloaded the version of VirtualDub that requires the optimisations available only on the pentium IV. Try and get the standard version.

    GP32 Backlit shipping

My uncle had damn well better have ordered my GP32, watching all these people get theirs whilst I have to sit here with my laptop with it's wireless LAN. Hmm, well, I've got something fairly cool for now to tide me over ;)

Will you also be selling DIY backlight kits?

    GP32 power indicator

Thanks for correcting me Vanguard, I guess I was mislead by the sites I read (supprisingly they were selling the higher capacity rechargeables). I was wondering about that.. would it do a huge amount of damage if you supplied 3.6v instead of 3v? If it didn't, you could possibly run a GP32 off...

    GP32 power indicator

Even so, 1.2v batteries will damage the equipment over a period (well, a long, long time :P), perhaps it's best to invest in some heavy duty ones :)

    GP32 power indicator

It's a distinct possibilty, if you can get hold of some, try using some 2200mAh NiMH batteries. I'll be using them when I (eventually) get my GP32. Whenever I put 1.2v batteries in my minidisc player it'd die after about an hour, compared to 12+ with standard alkaline batteries. It's a shame...

What that the PSX has what the gp32 dont

I think there is a battery pack for the PSX & LCD combo, but I'd be a bit dubious as to its life span. My laptop battery lasts about an hour and a half, so I think it'd be safe to assume that the battery pack for the PSX would have a similar life time. Then there's the fact that you'd have...

    MP3 Bitrate question?

There are ways to convert to a lower bitrate, though trying to go up would just make it sound really, really not good. I know how to convert files, but the way I do it is probably the worst way (convert to wave, then back from wave to MP3).

What that the PSX has what the gp32 dont

I think I got confused like you said, stupid yanks love putting things in mbit to make things look bigger. I also confused the OS ROM with the main RAM, oopsie hehe. What speed is the CD ROM drive on the PSX? Is it 2x?
