ok so n64 and psx is out then.
With the current specs, what would the ninja be capable of emulating (emulation is pretty much the only thing I'm interested in on a handheld :) ) that the gp32 cannot?
yeah, Richer Sounds is an AMAZING shop. The staff know their stuff and as for the prices...
When you planning on buying it?
And as for the midrange, I'll be honest its not fantastic but its serviceable, and for eighty quid its more than I expected to get.
Of course I agree, a war on terror is a good idea. But the way that the US in particular has chosen to fight this battle (by giving up rights that were so hard fought for) is just plain wrong. Also The fact that they keep targetting the wrong people worries me quite considerably. I mean, in the...
no, he hasn't. I was watching his press conference. g8 is actually going ahead without him for a few hours while he travels to london to assess the situation. Apparently he plans to return to the g8 sometime later today. But even that is severly disrupting the summit, which is playing right into...
treated well? Thats good, but what bothers me about that place is that people have been held there for years without trial or due proccess.
Governments need to be seen to be acting transparently in these matters, both in the interests of the 'terrorists' (I applied quotation marks because...
well thats ok then <_< *cough*guantanamo(sp) bay*cough*
don't get me wrong, of course terorism is terrible and utterly unacceptable, however knee-jerk reactions and scare-mongering are entirely the wrong way to combat it.
however the al-quida are a loose collection of dissaffected...
32 meg of ram wouldn't be enough for n64 emulation would it?
I mean, if I were to buy this (and it sounds interesting enough that I might just) it would have to be able to emulate everything the gp32 can plus (At least):
neogeo
psx
n64
and Amiga

Well, cambridge make a decent amp. I have the a1 which cost me 60-70 and its prettu nice (not surround or anything though). The treble is nice and crisp and the bass is deep and satisfying. Plus it can kick out some serious volume. I've never had to turn it up more than half, even at parties.
terrorism sucks indeed. But we shouldn't let the threat of terror erode our personal freedoms and civil liberties, once that happens the terrorists have won.
What was that shit in america, the patriot act?
7 confirmed explosions. 1 bus, 6 tube stations.
not entirely accurate, as I understand it the blasts were all pretty much simultanious. Not that that it makes much of a difference I guess.
I wonder how long it'll take for the government to start cynically exploiting this tragedy for their...
I recently rediscovered the Distillers. More punk than goth I think, but any band with a female vocalist gets my attention anyway (speaking of, have you heard garbages new album...its average at best)
Joy Division is one of my favourite bands ever. Love Will Tear Us Apart is the most powerful song, I just love it.
The Cure are alright but I prefer their less commercial stuff, Love Cats just pisses me off, but the paranoia that shines through in A Forest is really nice.
I don't like...
