Well, you seem to have a knock off Chinese adapter which was really hard to track down.
If it is one of these types then you will still blow your GP2X because you need center negative.

Not sure if it's from the same patch. You may have to look for this version.
I get a black screen and exit after about 2 minutes. No specific errors in stdout but seems to load OK. Maybe Adventus can take a look and let us know. Would be cool. Maybe get Deus Vult II working too ;)

I can concure that if you choose a new game from the first screen it will always choose Bloodbath. So I played around a bit and found out that subsequently starting a new game will indeed select the right skill level.
